Thanks for your opinion. I didn’t realize “Young Sheldon” already premiered. I’ll find it on demand. My fave show is “The Blacklist”, I don’t know when it starts.
I watched Young Sheldon and Me, Myself and I. Both wee worth watching a second episode.
I really liked The Good Doctor snd will definitely watch the second episode.
Hellfighters!
I think 43 seconds on the clock when they scored? Right up till then Fouts and the other announcer were writing Brady’s obit.
“won’t see TV” Exactly.
I spend too much time as it is here with you mugs.
Who’s got time to follow stories on the Tee Vee?
(OK. I’m giving The Walking Dead another chance.)
One of my guilty pleasures.
I’ve been really intrigued by how they handle the theological issues. Love the casting and the writing. But darned if I can see how they’ll eventually end it.
I enjoyed the Mother Goddess being a self-centered bitch. Great writing and character development.
“The Orville” is a hoot. If you like “Galaxy Quest”, you’ll like this. Sci-fi that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Even smarmy MacFarland is decent in this.
“Young Sheldon”? No thanks. I’m about the only person in my circle of friends who can’t stand “Big Bang Theory”, probably because I had roommates like that in college. Sheldon as a kid can’t be much less annoying, I’m guessing.
Now, about the Patriots, I’ve been a big fan of them for years, but... read my tagline. Even Brady’s bunch are persona-non-grata in this household for the foreseeable future.
Watched Young Sheldon and almost purchased Season Pass on iTunes for it. If the 2nd episode is as good, I will. It portrays his mother in a far better light than TBBT does, plus the actress nails the part.
Seriously. You watch a show glorifying satan?
I read somewhere that Ellen was the only “chick” that Heche was ever with. As I recall she (Heche) had serious mental health issues, looking it up, she claims she was molested by her father.
As for the show, I had plum forgot there were making a show based on the “Taken” movie franchise. My mom told me she watched it and loved it, I’ll probably check it out based on her recommendation.
I watched “Young Sheldon” and I liked it a lot.
Er, “The Brave” I meant, I don’t know why I confused that with “Taken”.
Add these to the viewing list -
In Harm’s Way, They Were Expendable, Rio Grande, She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, Fort Apache, Stagecoach, McClintock, The Quiet Man, Chisum, and The Alamo ...
- and I’ll be over with cold beer and hot pizza...
Once a blue moon ago I ran up on an old 1947 Tyrone Power flick, Captain from Castile, that I had some how never seen before even though it was as old as I am. Watching it gave me a warm glow to have the enjoyment of a film from the movie making era I enjoyed the most.
It was with massive Déjà vu that I enjoyed this series pilot.
First, let me say Anne Heche as Deputy Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Patricia Campbell is spot on as a hard as nails type I would want in that spot in real life who would ruthlessly see the job is done, period!
As best I recall, Anne was your typical Hollywood Liberal with several episodes of 'mental health' issues to cover some strange (that is strange to any normal or conservative person) events like hiding naked in public places. So, to imagine any self-respecting Hollywood Liberal would play such a convincing old-style heroic character that put the fate of the United States above it's political correct Muslim enemies and even a hostage whose rescue was the point of the original mission plan, is kind'a amazing! Making her either one hell of a friggin' actress or she has had a complete change of political heart that the Liberal Media has totally missed--
(To tell the truth, I suspect they told Anne her character was the ultimate villain that would eventually be brought down as the triumphant twin forces of the Loony Left Coast Liberalism & 'Kill the America Dogs' Islamism would win in the end.)
Other characters are Mike Vogel (from the "Under the Dome" suckfest) as Captain Adam Dalton, a former Delta force operator with a no holds barred sense of mission and both unabashed panache and a sly sense of humor.
Demetrius Grosse (Errol Butler in "Justified") as CPO Ezekiel "Preach" Carter, a former U.S. Navy SEAL whose the writers have placed here to balance and help explain the two other 'Muslim' characters Hadi Tabbal as Agent Amir Al-Raisani and Natacha Karam as Sergeant Jasmine "Jaz" Khan.
Rounding out the cast are Sofia Pernas as former field operative Hannah Archer now back from getting cut up on an op to a desk position in the DIA.
Lastly, Noah Mills as Sergeant Joseph J. "McG" McGuire and Tate Ellington as Noah Morgenthau
It is almost like the got the ghost of Sam Peckinpah to direct the killing scenes without the massive use of blood squibs. Almost as if they also had John Wayne and/or Raylan Givens' trigger finger in the number of 'Bad Guys & Gals' gunned down and blown up without a care in the world to political correctness and/or Femi-Nazi feminism.
I will be watching "The Brave" with enthusiasm to see how the series continues but I fear it is so damn good the Libs will find some way to either get it cancelled or change it to a liberal-love fest with our Muslim enemies becoming the Good Guys.
Have to admit it with another of my guilty pleasures confessions, I miss the original "Law & Order" series even with it overt liberal slant.
And speaking of non-guilty pleasures, I DVDed "Forbidden Planet" and have it on as I tarry away on my computer. The swimming scene is now showing:
Altaira: Come... on in.
Commander John J. Adams: I didn't bring... my bathing suit.
Altaira: What's... a bathing suit?
Very... interesting-
Oh crap... and I bet he farts, too--
Oh, I didn't tell you... this is the Forbidden Gun: Swim at Your Own Risk edition--

Thanks, Bender2. I started to watch “The Brave” this morning, but when I saw that Heche had a starring role I exited the show.
I’ll try it again. I did like “The Good Doctor” and “Young Sheldon”, though.
