ABC already had a similar storyline in its sitcom called “Ugly Betty.” It wasn’t the focus, but it was a theme later in the series’ run, along with about every other far-left topic. Gee, the show got cancelled not too long after the hard left turn. I guess ABC is hoping for a dumber audience this time around.

Let me guess.

The man will be an idiot who over time is systematically enlightened by his wife and housekeeper (who will roll their eyes together at the male’s behavior at least twice an episode and cast knowing glances at each other at least four times an episode about how stupid the husband is). The only intelligent male will be the housekeeper’s son who will also dutifully instruct the husband in the errors of his ways. The husband will grow closer to the boy over time. Toss in a Make America Great comment once a month and a neighbor or trade worker who is even more an idiot than the husband (and who gets instructed by the husband).
