If I am the business owner, this goes on for no more than ten seconds. I then am asking her to leave, telling her to leave, then frog marching her foul self out the door and pushing her off my property.

All lawful too.

If you as a business owner allow this type of disorder, you will lose business.

I live in a very liberal city in Canada, but the people here are dog crazy. Stores leave little bowls of water everywhere, people call their dogs their children. It’s nuts. And par for the course. Surprised this woman was so put off.

Some dog people are such inconsiderate myopic assholes. I am allergic to dogs, and yet in the workplace workers have stopped in on their days off, pulling their dog around to greet people. Maybe they should consider that not everyone can be around dogs.

Or the people that say “my dog never bites” moments before they rip your throat out.

Well, it WAS Walmart, and the dog is likely not the only one to have pissed on that stanchion.

The loudest mouth usually has the least amount worth saying or hearing.

The manager waited FAAAAAAAAAAAAR too long to step in. Stupid woman should have been exited after 3 seconds into the tirade.

Too many people just observing, standing around ...they could have driven her out without touching her.

So it was Walmart. I’ve been this behavior is other stores as well; it’s not just Walmart; hate to break it to ya.

I agree with you, some dog owners can be very inconsiderate of others.

As a Great Dane daddy, I’ll say the dog was a typically polite, gentle Great Dane, and, as such, a far better person than that subhuman, shrieking, humanoid POS.

“...does anyone want to guess what socio-ethnic group this woman belongs to?”

Yes, but did you notice her long-suffering husband was white? I can’t imagine what his life is like on a daily basis.

There was a scuzzy animal who should not be in a public restaurant...

It wasn't the dog.

OK so she isn't a lady, that doesn't mean she's wrong.

I've taken my trained dog onto the patio area of a restaurant which is clearly identified as dog friendly.. He lays under the table.

He doesn't belong in the inside area. There are many people allergic to dogs, or fearful of dogs or have other reasons not to want to eat near a dog. It's too bad common sense and courtesy are so rare.

I can agree with the people who don’t want animals, including dogs in a restaurant.

On the other hand, there is a proper way to show dissatisfaction.

In a well-mannered way, tell the waiter/waitress that you won’t eat in a restaurant that allows dogs, pay for any food that you have already eaten and leave. And don’t go back to that establishment.

Not start screaming and yelling and causing a scene.

Her husband would be entitled to bring a dog into the restaurant, too, if he decided to leave his casket for dinner.

You have triggered my sense of disgust. People volunteer to serve us, put their life on the line, suffer horribly... and you can’t let them have a dog? There are no words.

You DO understand the concept of a PTSD dog, right? So why would bringing that dog into a restaurant (which might not have an outside patio) be rude?

Or is it your view that veterans suffering PTSD shouldn’t bring their help dog to restaurants unless they keep them outdoors?
