A University of Tampa professor of sociology apologized for a tweet on Sunday suggesting that Texans deserved Hurricane Harvey because of their support for President Trump in the 2016 election. “I don’t believe in instant Karma but this kinda feels like it for Texas,” Ken Storey wrote in the original tweet, according to Campus Reform. “Hopefully this will help them realize the GOP doesn’t care about them." The commenter asked Storey if Trump supporters in Florida deserved a similar fate. “Yep, those who voted for him here deserve it as well.”

Why is this guy any kind of teacher of other people?

Obviously he knows nothing.

He should be fired immediately.

I found sociology classes very enlightening in college - but I didn’t have an idiot professor.

Same might be said that all America haters in the nation deserved what they got due to the fact they supported BO’B (and STILL do) giving credence to the fact we either stand together or we perish separately.
Gack! and ‘higher’ education is the aspiration of learn ed Americans? And at what price? “I’ll take door #3, Monty”

Let them spew thier hate, while they piss and moan about Russia they’re too stupid too realize most people are sick of thier petty bullsh*t and the fact that they try and inject politics into everything from music to concerts to movies to TV shows to award shows to football to hurricanes and eclipses.

Yes a degree in sociology is for true dum@sses who can’t make the cut in just about every other possible major.

Yes. I hate when people wish others to die. That happened on 9/11 when some freepers were happy that NYers were dying. So disturbing.

What an a$$hole.

I know you demented liberals hate Texas. I get it. I watch “The Big Bang Theory” in which a dominant theme is that Texas is fundamentalist Christian, gun-toting and stupid. I know how you people think.

You would willingly have all Texans lose their homes and/or lives because of your hate. I wish upon you the worst of what happened to people in and around Houston. Plus you need to resign. Obviously you won’t, because you are a liberal. You will shortly be getting a raise and words of praise from your university.

We had an idiot on here on Sunday who was happy that Houston was getting pounded because it was full of left-wingers!

That's really disgusting...especially from a Freeper. I expect it from leftist scumbags like this 'professor' but not from people who should know better!

So, does this mean that Florida is going to be punished for their part in “karma”?

Hillsborough County (Tampa) voted “blue”....

If voting “blue” didn’t save Houston and Harris County in Texas, this guy might be doomed.

I had been daydreaming, or just awakening or something and I lit up FR to read this headline and summary. I jolted myself back from the 1950-1965 time when I was in school, and was surrounded by teachers, professors and coaches who were veterans of WW2 for the most part. Survivors of the Great Depression in some cases. They were universally people who had experienced in hard living and loss. Any one of them would have taken this sorry excuse for a man outside and kicke his sorry ass to dust.
These people get paid to pass on their mental deficiencies to our children? That is where America derailed.

They’ll give anybody a degree these days, and almost anybody a professorship.

People are tearing up the university on their Facebook page. University trying to do damage control but the posters aren’t having it.

I guess nobody told the professor that Florida went to Trump also. He’d better invest in some raingear and board over his windows.
