Pope Francis: Rights of Migrants Trump National Security Concerns
Breitbart ^ | 21 Aug 2017

Pope Francis on Monday urged countries to greatly improve their welcome to migrants and stop collective expulsions, saying migrants’ dignity and right to protection trumps national security concerns.

Francis’ politically pointed message was made in view of the Catholic Church’s 2018 world refugee day, celebrated Jan. 14. It comes amid mounting anti-immigrant sentiment in Europe and beyond following waves of migrant arrivals and Islamic extremist attacks.

In the message, Francis demanded governments welcome, protect, promote and integrate migrants, saying Jesus’ message of love is rooted in welcoming the “rejected strangers of every age.”

This is tantamount to the theory that anyone in need should have rights to all your property.

Please Pope, sell the Vatican for whatever you can get for it, and give it away to the immigrants.

Thanks every so much, in advance...

And yet, somehow, the rights of migrants don’t trump the national security concerns of The State of Vatican City.

Dear Pope: Do it with your money if it’s so important.

Tell Francis “bless your heart; you need it.”

Great sentiment; horrible idea of execution.

Rome had terrible popes before. However they didn’t have modern communication efficiencies too. Today the poison of a bad pope goes everywhere lickety split.

How many of these has the Vatican installed there for refugees?

I concur! I don’t see Comrade Francis taking in all these illegals and heathen. The globalist seem to think they can control these savages. They can’t the beast will turn on them and devour them with the rest of Western civilization in the end and as they are being butchered they will be saying, but, but they said we could control them, make our money and still live like heathens, what happened???

When a government fails to protect it’s citizens national security then it is time for that government to be consigned to the ash heap of history, it’s failed in it’s first tenant as a government, provide for the common defense.

Francis is a communist.

I would highly recommend you do some research before you start giving recommendations on how to resettle Obama’s refugees.

I am guessing you would not know where to begin to find in the Bible where this was prophesied.

Catechism of the Catholic Church, #2241:

Political authorities, for the sake of the common good for which they are responsible, may make the exercise of the right to immigrate subject to various juridical conditions, especially with regard to the immigrants' duties toward their country of adoption. Immigrants are obliged to respect with gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens.

Well, there you go. The "Pope" is not teaching the Catholic faith. He's on his own, here ...

Mario Vargas LLosa, the famed Peruvian novelist and Nobel Prize winner for literature, has spent decades slamming Argentina and its pendejos. I await the day when his genius is used to go after the ill-named Pope Francis.

I believe this is the transcription that caused the article:

http://w2.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/messages/migration/documents/papa-francesco_20170815_world-migrants-day-2018.html

There's one brief section addressing security:

"The principle of the centrality of the human person, firmly stated by my beloved Predecessor, Benedict XVI,[5] obliges us to always prioritise personal safety over national security. It is necessary, therefore, to ensure that agents in charge of border control are properly trained. The situation of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees requires that they be guaranteed personal safety and access to basic services. For the sake of the fundamental dignity of every human person, we must strive to find alternative solutions to detention for those who enter a country without authorisation"

Well, if someone is in physical danger, we certainly can ensure they aren't slaughtered or starved at our doors. And if we do let them in, we should ensure they are not harmed or starved within our borders. If medical care is necessary, it is only humane to do something.

Now beyond that, it's all prudential. And even within those constraints, it's pretty much open to argument. I would argue that helping them return safely to their homelands may be the better approach. There are Catholic agencies out there helping to rebuild areas where people have fled from. I just rec'd an appeal this weekend for money to rebuild homes and hospitals for ME Christians to return to.

So yes, while what he said DOES border on foolishness, what the article suggested is reading way too much into it.

By the way, lilly white Argentina has for a century ordered negros not to show their black ass in the country after the sun goes down. So much for Francis and his concern for migrants.

“Pope Francis is an evil man. He is not a man of God. He is not a Catholic. “

Here’s hoping Satan calls him home soon! Being a Catholic today is like being a Republican, just awful!
