Can the governor and the local authorities be counted on to provide adequate protection for the rally goers?
I’m fairly contident we will be okay. The secret service will be involved, and there’s a lot of heat on the Mayor of Phoenix and the Phoenix Chief of Police. We have a good Republican governor who is in charge of the National Guard. I would feel much better if Sheriff Joe was still the Sheriff, he and his possee didn’t mess around one bit.
If you are in Phoenix, let us know what signs you see. The same for flags (color, words, etc). We need to know who the enemy is.
Also see if Rep. Krstya Sinema (D-Az) is there. She was affiliated with the Communist Party USA in the 1990’s (See: “www.keywiki.org”, search under her name, for some goodies on her.
Interesting that you make that analogy. The huge difference is the Secret Service and LEO's in attendance. The Stones made the mistake of hiring the Hell's Angels for security. Jagger has long admitted it was a huge mistake. He thought some beer and the "security" label would keep people in check and appease the HA's in their own territory.
If you've never seen the movie, "Altamont", it shows what went wrong. It was the HA's that made a mess of that concert. They were all over the stage and picking fights with people in the crowd because they touched their bikes, or attacking people who were trying to climb on stage because of the lack of a security buffer zone that all large concerts now have.
A band member of the Jefferson Airplane was punched out by a HA earlier and they quit and just walk off stage. Surprisingly, the Stones still attempted their set. If not, there probably would have been more havoc. Jagger spent much of their set trying to calm things down - to late...the HA's were drunk and wanted to fight.
Silver lining: The movie clearly shows during playback review some black guy in a green leisure suit pointing his gun at Jagger and being knifed to death by an HA. I don't think the HA was even charged. Still...stupid idea by Jagger and management.
Might want to check into the light rail train that stops right near the Convention Center. Cheaper than an Uber, and you can drive your own car to any stop you want to park at.

No he won’t. Sheriff Joe is appealing his case. He was not allowed a jury trial which is absolutely outrageous. President Trump will wait until Sheriff Joe has exhausted all of his appeals, and then Trump will pardon him.
Or announce his support for Flake’s primary opponent.
I think Dr. Kelli Ward will be at the rally and President Trump will give her his “undeniable” support for her candidacy to take senator flakes job...We already have commercials for her run next year...If McShame dies before the election, I would encourage Gov Ducey to name ex-governor Jan Brewer to that seat....
Any word yet if the bikers for Trump are showing up? I hope many thousands of them are there. They really are needed to help keep peace...just their presence helps.
