Mitch McConnell joins John Kasich in Republican attack on Trump...

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has weighed in on the weekend's violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, castigating Donald Trump without naming him.

'We can have no tolerance for an ideology of racial hatred. There are no good neo-nazis,' McConnell said in a statement.

The choice of words, while careful, appeared to push back against Trump's claim on Tuesday that some 'very fine people' were among a crowd of white supremacists who rallied in the college town.

McConnell's wife, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, stood next to Trump on Tuesday as he insisted both sides of the weekend's clash bore some responsibility for the violence that led to one death and nearly two dozen injuries.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich tore into Trump earlier in the morning.

'Pathetic, isn't it just pathetic?' Kasich said kicking off a 'Today' show appearance Wednesday morning.

You can argue that there were good people there.

OK, nice to see you've adjusted your story. But the damage is already done. They won't let the President take your latest view.

Are we talking about the Friday night rally or the chaos on Saturday?

I'm referring to Saturday only because that was the rally that was the subject of the Federal lawsuit and the court order that required the City of Charlottesville to grant them the permit for the demonstration, but there's no indication that there was any violence at the Friday night event. I'm pretty sure President Trump was referring to the Saturday event, too -- since he specifically said that the demonstrators had a legal right to assemble there in the park.

Trump was 100% correct! Do us a favor and leave FR if we violate your principles.

The Democrats are participating in the modern form of book burning!

So, let’s change the question, if you went to this rally thinking you were going to honor good ol Bobby Lee, and ran into a lot of dudes chanting about Jews and giving Nazi salutes, what would you do?

I would assume that I somehow found my way into a Democrat Party rally, and take a hike. :-)

If he was just speaking to Saturday, he’s on stronger footing. But I don’t think you can discuss Saturday without discussing Friday.

Friday was a chilling - and I’ll say it - evil demonstration.

There's almost always a difference between a weekday demonstration and a Saturday demonstration.

Most people who demonstrate on Saturdays do so because they're employed and work during the week.

This is exactly how Soros funded groups took down Ukraine. Even the slogans the Ukranian Nazi’s chanted were the same as the ones these people were chanting, “Blood and Soil”.

This was a false flag by the deep state, not necessarily by the govt. Trump knows it, he hinted at it yesterday, now if he can only get Sessions to do something.

Friday and Saturday were connected but slightly different events. And I don’t think you can address Saturday without addressing Friday.

And if President Trump had drawn a distinction, he would be on stronger ground.

The statement is pretty simple. We have freedom of speech and freedom of assembling. We can despise everything that someone is marching for and still accept their right to say it.

What was said on Friday in particular by these Neo-Nazi groups was despicable and against everything we stand for as a nation. We condemn it in the strongest terms. (Since it’s Trump, he can call them losers too).

Hating what they stand for does not justify violence on any side.

It’s not difficult. President Trump has tried this three times and is still not getting it right.

Much, much worse.

If the Democrats can get away with attacking you for what you might say, then they can attack anyone.

You don’t like a co-worker? Just attack him and claim that he could have said something racist.

You don’t like your neighbor? Attack him and claim that he probably wanted to say something racist.

Don’t like your Mayor? Attack him and say that you’re sure he was going to say something racist sometime.

This baloney in Charlottesville is baloney.

The easiest thing in the world for those Democrats to do on Saturday after the rally was cancelled would be to celebrate and say,

“We won! We shut down the rally!”

But they didn’t.

They waded in with weapons.

That makes them thugs and not peaceful counter protestors.

They will never let him get it right. His silence will make him complicit, his speech will indict him. That's bandwagon morality and you could be next.

Ever read Solzhenitsyn and the blanket "crimes against the state." Vaclav Havel?

ROPO—that’s me
“Republican On Paper Only”

Now, I don’t even think I want to be one on paper-—Don’t want to be in the same party of McNasty, Turtle, or Ryan.

What we’re witnessing is a soft impeachment of Trump—He needs to bail and start his own Party. Thoughts??

Are we headed toward impeachment numbers, yet?

The R’s would sooner lose their majority in the mid-terms, particularly in the US Senate, if it would rid them of Trump.

The Ryan/McConnell/Gang-of-Eight crowd is into blood money and power, ruthlessly trying to dump this president, so they can return to raping the United States and join One World Government, which is bound to usher in Totalitarianism.

“and whoever controls the media does indeed control the narrative”

True, but the game has changed for them and keeping their control is questionable at this point.

No one has to listen to the nightly echo chamber and be subjected to the “news” they want you to hear.

They know all this, and it’s why they’re pulling out all the stops and shrieking like the wimps they are.

From reading the words McConnell said, it appears he ECHOES Trump and doesn’t repudiate him.

Trump said the SAME thing about neo nazis on Monday.

What Trump DID say was that there were BAD ACTORS on both sides of the confederate statue issue...and he is correct.

The white supremacists were idiots and the counter protesters ALSO had idiots. Both sides had a violent element in them, and that is what the MEDIA and the wimps in the political class are refusing to acknowledge.
