Communications requires money, tech, training, and the ability to imagine the worst day ever. It is hard getting the first two. Training is a challenge because some end users will never understand it. Imagination means not just building out a good system, but exercising it on a regular basis.

I have a special interest in this because I do tactical comms for my agency, and we have to talk with everybody.

Yes it requires money. So it’s ironic this occurred at a venue, D.C., that has the highest number of wealthy people in the country.

Seems even with the best systems, they can’t get things right in D.C.
