Sen. John McCain said Tuesday that President Donald Trumps threat against North Korea was a bit of bluster that fell short of the example set by previous American presidents.
The Arizona Republican, one of Congress most vocal exponents of U.S. military power, told Phoenix radio station KTAR News 92.3 that Trump should be more measured in his rhetoric on North Korea.

Point blank frankness: Who cares what John McCain thinks or says. Is it really him talking or his brain cancer?

If Trump said ‘UP’, McCain would say ‘DOWN;.. That said, it might be best to overlook stuff until McCain’s feeling better.

The question isn’t who is more hawkish, but rather who is hawkish about what. North Korea is not on McCain’s radar. He may even like the regime there.
To: HarleyLady27
McCain doesn’t like Trump, and he’s willing to screw over the entire country and everybody in it to requite his scorn.

McCain is all over the board on North Korea. I have no idea what he thinks should be done.

I take exception to the presidents comments because you got to be sure you can do what you say youre going to do, McCain said Huh? You can do what you're going to do? By definition ... if you are going to do something ... then you CAN do something.
What McCain may have meant to say if he was still coherent is ... will Trump be willing to back up his words? That would be the question.
IMO Trump wants to prod NK into making a mistake that allows him the opportunity to take out the NK leadership.
