Rest assured, many other more well qualified candidates were passed over so that Portland could show it’s ass, errrrrrr, enlightened affirmative action policies to the rest of Oregon.
One of my Police Science teachers was named Justice. He was the Deputy Chief of the Alexandria, Va. police department.
And he was a very good teacher.
Another one of my teachers in PS (the chairman of the department), was the FBI agent who got the first call from Nazi saboteur Daesch when he wanted to turn himself in.
Another law teacher (paralegal school) was a Jewish lawyer who had to defend the Nazis’ in their request for a parade permit through Skokie, Ill, the home to many holocaust survivors. Boy did he have a tough job but he said it was the issue of the law being equal for everyone, not the fact that Skokie had a large Jewish population. An excellent teacher and person.
Another law teacher of mine was a defense lawyer in the Hanafi Massacre murder case in D.C. He got lots of death threats.
Hope this woman is good because she came from Oakland which is a crime cesspool run by Marxists and drug traffickers (and Maxine Water and Ron Dellums, the two comrades).
And God knows that Portland is a stinking mess due to the liberals and Marxists takeover of that city years ago.

Reading this reminded me of why we did not renew our Sams Club membership.
The black female CEO gave an interview in which she stated that she proudly passed over less qualified candidates in favor of AA minorities for high level positions.
We decided that whenever possible, that kind of discrimination/racism (which is Affirmative Action) should not rewarded,
Something about whittling out the Neanderthals, I’m sure.

And given that she came from Oakland PD which can’t seem to find a chief of it’s own. Oh well, at least they didn’t hire the Black Fire Chief that just resigned after the investigation into the East Oakland warehouse fire that killed 35 young people got under way.

Proudly stated she would never hire any white man. She should have been out on her tail that very day.
I will never have a Sam’s Club membership again. Haven’t for a long time and appears it was a wise move.
