And about the republican plan to pay for obamacare (and they get to rename it like a sports stadium since they pay).
And what they can do to make it appear like they are replacing obamacare while accepting the democrat’s basic idea of the ACA that it is the federal government’s duty to guarantee everyone health INSURANCE (but not health CARE).

Let’s all remember this is step 1 in a long process (of “debate” which means adding pork filled amendments).
I won’t rehash my predictions since the primaries in detail but suffice to say this:
A real repeal will never make it out of Congress. (And a simple repeal is really the only conservative position on this)
This “repeal and replacement”, if it ever reaches the president’s desk, will be nothing substantially different than Obamacare is now.
With that I return you all to continue to enjoy this bit of Congressional theater.

It takes forever to read motions. The Senate allows each Senator to object in order to give every Senate a lot of power. But, Senators are supposed to be very discrete in the exercise of these extraordinary privileges. But, nowadays, the Democrats are no more than obstructionists. They use the rules of the Senate to slow down the work of the Senate without discretion. One by one, as the Democrats continue to act as obstructionists, the Republicans must change the rules so a minority cannot obstruct the business of the Senate.
