Somewhere, there’s a Nostradamus quatrain to be found, and you’re just the guy to find it...lolol.

I disagree. I think he runs his mouth too much and forgets what he says.
In the past he has said Hillary was a good person, then running against her for President she became a bad person then when he was elected she was good again. Now on this week’s episode on the Days of Twitter she’s bad again.
Someone needs to take his freakin’phone away from him. He needs a long time out.

A great many of us care and find it despicable that so many in the Democrat Party, the media, the Deep State and the RINO wing have maligned and obstructed the president so aggressively.

That doesn’t justify Trump’s treatment of Jeff Sessions or make it any less egregious. In fact, the president, in this instance, is behaving just like his enemies. His anger seems to be speaking volumes about his character.

I only hope that, as many have suggested on FR over the past several days, this is a strategy which Sessions is participating in for the good of the nation.

Otherwise, Trump is risking loosing the support of a great many conservatives. We’ll see.

-- [playing a game] It's the only reason that explains why Sessions hasn't resigned. --

First a glib but accurate observation. Resignation is the ultimate recusal.

Assume for the sake of argument that Sessions is disloyal, or just plain self-centered. he could ignore the public humiliation as a function of forcing Trump to fire him, rather than resigning.

Sessions might stay in out of pique.

All sorts of options, when dealing with human affairs.

Now you’ve got me thinking. I will reflect on this and post a relevant quatrain at the appropriate time in the next day or so. LOL!!

-- I also don't see anything in Rosenstein's background that would be cause for concern. --

There is stuff there. He whitewashed the Clinton WH having 900 FBI files, for one thing.

I'm not saying he isn't a reasonable choice for the job, just that there are things in his background that suggest ...

If you believe any of those assumptions about Sessions, then you know nothing of this man’s long and honorable career and accomplishments.

His comments on Twitter have gotten out of control. The majority of them are ego-driven drivel.
He is the President of the United States, and this has become embarrassing. And every one of you would have thought Obama an egomaniacal fool if he had tweeted about himself with the “whoa is me crap” all the time. How many times on FR did people comment on how many times Obama said I in a speech? Trump can’t stop talking about himself, and everytime somebody says something about him that he doesn’t like he goes running to Twitter to whine about it. Thin-skinned much?

We just had 8 years of that! I’m starting to wonder who’s more sensitive!

Trump didn’t campaign on cracking down on marijuana or increasing civil asset forfitures.

I agree on this. Sessions is tying up time and resources where he shouldn’t be.

There's no reason to complain about Donald Trump right now. He is what he's always been ... he hasn't changed a bit.

It might be helpful to watch this video to put it all in perspective:

“We need an ambitious, ruthless, hard-ass, nut-cutting SOB.
Sessions can go be a gentleman somewhere else.”

Yes, and not Rudy ( who doesn’t want the job anyway). I’d love a Jay Sekulow, a Tom Fitton, or maybe even a Trey Gowdy as AG. We need someone who has a perpetual hard on for corruption and who will go after the Clinton Machine. Because when you start thinking of “existential threats” to Trump’s presidency, these people and their financiers are a the top of the list.

Not established fact, but the WaPo reported that Mueller was looking in real estate deals by Jared, deals that predate the campaign.

I don't know of other investigation points that involve "family," that are outside the campaign. DJT Jr's meeting was of course "in the campaign," and a fair event to look into IF (big IF) there is some reason to suspect the Trump campaign committed a crime.

You should consider a visit to The_Donald subreddit sometime. The moonbat Leftist who runs reddit claims there are just shy of half a million members on The_Donald, but for advertising purposes he admits there are 7 million. These are Trump’s most dedicated supporters, including a raft of young firebrands. (In fact, the majority are in their 20s and 30s.)

These people LIVE for Trump tweets. They create dedicated memes depicting how hard it is to wait for the newest tweet. What you perceive as Trump changing his mind, they recognize as changing circumstances. While some of Trump’s nuances are lost on certain people, none are lost on his base. They understand him from start to finish.

If you can tolerate salty language, you’d receive an invaluable education from browsing The_Donald. Here’s the link:

Right.

I'll give the WaPo the credibility it has earned ... which is none at all. LOL.

Ideally Sessions will get Trump’s message, quit the small ball and take on the Swamp. That would be a big win.

But Trump did campaign on repealing Obamacare, building a wall, stopping illegal immigration, and lowering taxes. Except for steps toward curbing illegal immigration and dealing with illegals already here, actions Jeff Sessions has played a major role in helping him accomplish, the POTUS isn’t having much success.

Maybe he needs to work on dealing with the folks who are actually working AGAINST his agenda instead of focusing on maligning a friend who sacrificed a great deal personally to help get him elected but who also holds the rule of law higher than the ego of a single individual, regardless of his title.

Sessions can show allegiance to his President by getting up on his hind legs and fighting like a man....
.... appoint a second special prosecutor to investigate Seth Rich’s death & the DNC server,....it could be broadened to include Clinton fundraising crimes, unmasking for political espionage purposes, the Lynch/Clinton Obstruction of Justice, leaking of classified info out of the Deep State, Mueller & Comey’s ties to the DNC....turn the FBI lose on real criminality....

That's why I called them "assumptions for talking purposes."

I'm a huge fan of Jefferson B. Sessions. Huge. His Senate speeches and references to "masters of the universe" and "mandarins" are legendary in my mind. I watched the Senate "full time" for two years, kept notes, put 'em in blog posts. Out of 100 senators, Jeff sessions is my No.1. I view him as a genuinely good and thoughtful man. The number of other senators that I held as even "decent" is less than 5. DeMint, Coburn (but he;s lost my respect), Grassley is quirky, but not dishonest. The rest are full-on liars.

I recall that he did offer to go. I’m not a fan of Trump’s management style. Public humiliation of a guy you hired does nothing but sow concern with your other hires.

I have my doubts that Mueller is staying inside his authorization. What isn;t know is for sure if he is, and if so, where he is straying.
