White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci said on Tuesday that he believes President Donald Trump wants Attorney General Jeff Sessions out of office.

Scaramucci made the comments while on conservative commentator Hugh Hewitt's radio show, Axios reports.

Asked by Hewitt if it appears clear that Trump wants Sessions out, Scaramucci said, "You're probably right."

Fact is that no one in here knows any more about what is going on than do the democrats...

Just sit back and watch what comes down....

You’re exactly right. We’ll find out and can only hope it is for the best.

Maybe they are floating this about Sessions to get Dems to defend him. First, get a few dems on the record talking about how sessions is a statesman with a distinguished career...

... then drop the bombs on full-bore Hillary investigation and pending indictments.

Then leave the AG chair empty.

Better than leaving Sessions in it.

I don’t want to see any GOP appointed to anything.

They don’t do anything.

A number of people have been demanding that sessions investigate all the obama clinton scandals for some time. The gross inaction has led to repeated calls for sessions to be replaced. Pres Trump has repeatedly tweeted that certain people are guilty of illegal actions and have not been investigated and prosecuted.

The crescendo of criticism of sessions overlooking real crimes is not going to fade until he either initiates actions or leaves. Simple as that. You can complain about the number of postings about the same subject as loud as you want. It wont change that people want an aggressive AG. They didnt vote for sleeping jeff sessions. They voted for the jeff sessions that complained in the senate about every illegal obama action. And now that he has the power to actually do something about it. Crickets.

Jeb was the GOP candidate, not Cruz (unless I missed something).

So how is Cruz a GOP anything?

Cruz is in the GOP, the GOP does nothing, therefore Cruz does nothing.

No one from the GOP has done anything.

What is the major GOP accomplishment since ever?

Useless.

I have sometimes been a little slow on the up-take of certain nuances in life. Even I cringe at what they are doing to Sessions. I am not sure that public humiliation is always the right course.

I have been cringing, too. Do not understand this. Totally unnecessary. Why ruin the man?

UNLESS this is some sort of trick, I think this should be done quietly. Am I missing something?

It isn’t. It looks like the White House is being run by spoiled tweens.

As angry as I am with Sessions I’d rather keep him than see Cruz in there. At least Sessions is an American citizen and not an opportunist creeper.

Is anyone cringing about how the Mueller folks are targeting the family of the president? When Trump says, Next up Barron Trump, you should get the idea that he is extremely angry about his family being targeted. But no one seems to care in the swamp. No one.

Has anyone reminded President Trump that if Jeff Sessions leaves then the little traitor Rosenstein, the dummy that actually appointed the Special Council, will be his acting AG? The senate will be furious and could take years to get around to appointing another AG and he will be stuck with the weasel who appointed Meuller

Sounds just like what we had with Lynch and Holder. No thanks.

Loyalty to the Constitution is what we need and what we have in Sessions. An unwaveringly decent and honorable man. Trump doesn’t deserve him but America needs many more like him. Of course, we see what happens to those who place country above self, service above ambition, and the Constitution above Trump’s ego. How long before the bully-in-chief turns on General Mathis?

***3. While this was all going on (from January to April), Rosenstein remained in his U.S. Attorney post in Maryland and was included in the group of 46 U.S. Attorneys whose resignations Jeff Sessions demanded in early March. President Trump refused to accept his resignation.***

Thank you for posting this. I didn’t know this. So Sessions tried to clean house and Trump stopped him. Now he’s on Twitter whining about Sessions instead of acting like a man and bringing him in and talking to him face to face. Maybe now we know why.

I don’t like this Twitter bullshit. It got old a while back. My 17 year old daughter has already outgrown social media and thinks it’s childish. A President has much more important things to do than to talk about himself like a teenage girl on social media.

It’s damn embarrassing.

I think you are reading the whole story incorrectly.

So Sessions tried to clean house and Trump stopped him.

Not exactly. I believe Trump was fine with Sessions cleaning house, but he didn't want to accept Rosenstein's resignation because he wanted him to stay in that U.S. Attorney post while his nomination was being processed. Remember that Rosenstein wasn't confirmed until late April, so he would have been sitting in limbo for nearly two months -- during which time he would be getting calls on a daily basis from big law firms looking to hire him.

A President has much more important things to do than to talk about himself like a teenage girl on social media. It's damn embarrassing.

I was of the same mind last year up until the time he was tweeting useless, unnecessary bullsh!t about that former Miss Universe contestant who nobody had ever heard of before. That nearly cost him the election.

Since then, I've recognized that many of these messages have become a powerful weapon in destroying the monopoly of the mainstream media. It's also become a great tool for one of the most powerful weapons a political figure has when dealing with adversaries: incessant, entertaining ridicule.

I laid out the timeline in that prior post not to criticize Trump's comments about Sessions, but to support my contention that this is all a well-rehearsed game of distraction that involves both Trump and Sessions.

It’s good that Trump has introduced the practice of probationary period for new employees to the federal government.

***How is it that for how many years now we have sunk to the level of picking and choosing which politician to protect rather than to protect the Constitution?***

Exactly. His job is not to be loyal to Trump, but to the Constitution. Asset Forfeiture Laws, not protecting the Constitution. Allowing Politicians to get away with crimes that you and I could never get away with, not protecting the Constitution.

Get to work Sessions.
