Here's Trump's approval rating in every state
Yahoo via Business Insider ^ | 7/25 | Andy Kiersz

President Donald Trump has proven to be a divisive figure in his first six months in office, and Americans' views of how well he's doing his job vary widely across the country.

On Monday, Gallup released estimates of Trump's job approval rating in each of the 50 states, based on a collection of over 81,000 survey results between the president's inauguration on January 20 and June 30.

It's worth noting that the extended time interval, while necessary to ensure large enough sample sizes in each state to make reasonable estimates of the president's approval rating, means that views of Trump may have changed amid a tumultuous six months. Still, Gallup's results provide at least some idea of where the president stands across the states.

This is interesting. It's hard to know how accurate this is because it's such a large span to do a survey but it's essentially what I would have imagined. It parallels the election and shows that his base of support is still strongly behind him. IF... and it's a big if, there is a 3rd candidate in play, it helps him a lot. Although... I'm not sure Elizabeth Warren would beat him. Sanders may. And that's scary too.

What up with Texas? Because there's no wall?

Notice that President Trump is the divisive one in #FakeNews. It’s not Hillary’s minions or Resist/Antifa that are divisive. Only real Americans get blamed.

This map reminds me of MSNBC’s prediction of a Hillary Landslide of 400+ electoral votes.

No time for fake poll, but how many Republicans polled per state? Did GOP sample for each state vary based on last November results, registration .

If this is accurate, it tells me the old media crime wing still has far more power to shape public opinion with lies than is expected.

What are the breakdowns for Gallup in terms of Dems/Ind/Reps?

Look, I think that Trump is probably not as unpopular as some polls show but probably not as popular as some of his diehard supporters like to believe.

He has to get his numbers up beyond his base to win reelection because some people stayed home last time that might turn out against him next.

I still recommend him stop Tweeting over the Russia probe and focus on his agenda 100% because the Tweets give the media sharks more fodder AND polls show that Russia is only the top issue for SIX PERCENT of the population. People care about the issues. I wrote a whole article on how I think he can improve his poll numbers in my sig in terms of promoting his agenda via social media and getting out there campaigning for his agenda.

That’s right. The only approval that counts. Do you think there’s a chance he doesn’t run again?

I’m no media fan and I have seen many examples of where they’ve created fake/negative news. But I think we need to be guarded about dismissing every single thing we see that doesn’t reflect favorably in our favor. That may come back to bite us.

There is a huge heard mentality in the world. The vast majority still believe what the media tells them. The internet helps get the truth out but there are still too many people who believes EVERYTHING they read on the web.

You are 100% that people who stayed home will come out against him. However, I *think* most of that vote would be in states he already lost. That’s just my hunch though. So he’ll lose the popular vote again but I’m not certain what effect that would have on the EC vote.

LOL! Survey occurred over a 6 month period - that makes it even more irrelevant than the usual fake polls.

What up with Texas?

Gallup pollsters seek out those that would provide the most controversial input...as in mexicans and illegals.

Because there's no wall?

And therein comes the rest of the unrest.

Good Texans are tired of the sieve to the south...Trump promised a wall...where is the wall?

And based on my experience, any Texan that would participate in a Gallup poll is:

1) Not a Texan in the first place.

2) Most likely a loudmouthed illegal that actually thinks their opinion has a place in the doings of Texas.

3) A stupid liberal that escaped from the confines of Austin or Houston and got accidentally interviewed alongside I-35 in a rest stop.

The vast majority still believe what the media tells them.

************************************************************

I doubt that very much. Not saying they totally disbelieve but the days when the people blindly accept the media as a harbinger of truth are long gone.

I think he is only warming up. My hope is there is someone, like Trump, ready to run in 2024.

“The vast majority still believe what the media tells them”

Don’t be fooled by the loud mouth in the crowd. He/she sounds like a lot of people but really is not.
Likewise, the leftist propaganda media is ALWAYS what they believe, or want to believe, and not what most people believe.
