I doubt McConnell thinks this will go anywhere — probably a ploy to show Trump — “see we tried it your way”.
It will be interesting to see a projected Senate vote count for a pure repeal and then contrast it with what they achieved when Obama was in office.
Kill the beast, then take your time to do things properly.
I hope everyone realizes Obamacare isn’t going anywhere. We have a majority and STILL can’t muster enough votes to get rid of it. It’s going to slowly deteriorate, fail, and be replaced with singer payer.

Actually it’s good they will repeal. Two years is outside if they come up with something sooner they can put it into effect. The nice thing about this is no bail outs, if the insurance companies raise premiums even the limbs will be screaming

I think that is brilliant. They will have repealed Obamacare with a sunset provision. 2018 will be about who drafts the replacement. I don’t think a consensus can be reached so Obamacare will be gone.
It’ll take at least two years to replace with anything we all would accept.
The key is not just holding, but GAINING seats.
