The Senate Judiciary Committee has opened a probe into former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s efforts to shape the FBI’s investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, the committee’s chairman announced Friday.
In a letter to Ms. Lynch, the committee asks her to detail the depths of her involvement in the FBI’s investigation, including whether she ever assured Clinton confidantes that the probe wouldn’t “push too deeply into the matter.

All four people asked to respond can answer with denial. Lynch has been asked to respond to the substance of the supposed intercept of an intercept. She can just deny, too.
Investigation is designed to be over before it starts.

Normally, I would agree. But this is Chuck Grassley’s Committee, which actually has oversight of the DOJ. Ranking Dem is DiFi, who is known to be unhappy with a lot of DOJ and FBI behavior under Obama. They may be giving a nod to former colleague Sessions. This isn’t anti-Trump grandstanding run by NeverTrumper Burr.
Yawn, ho hum. She is holding a straight flush.....woman, black, demonrat, and no intent. If demonrats were held accountable for their crimes and lawbreaking they would have no one to run for office...sad but true.

Trey tasted stardom in at least a couple of episodes of “Forensic Files”. I’ve seen him in two so far (of course they’re several years old now).
