RUSH: I read my little tech blogs, and those guys, these young Millennials, the New York Times may as well be the Holy Bible. I cant tell you how frustrating it is, the things that they believe, particularly about Trump, but also climate change.
I had a story let me see if I can find it here. I didnt get to it because it really had nothing to do with anything. It was about how another trip to the Arctic to discover global warming had to be postponed because of too much ice. Ill dig it out here. When I read those stories I know the New York Times isnt gonna publish that, so these sycophants that read it are never gonna see it.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Also, Global Warming Study Cancelled Because of Unprecedented Ice. This was James Delingpole writing at Breitbart, and its actually credited to Vice. It was clear it was from the Arctic, I just needed to be among the ice to see it, said Dr. Barber. What was also clear to me was that climate change has caused this event to happen.'
More ice. He had to be among the ice, he said, to see how much of it there was. Satellite data wasnt good enough. They had to cancel a study because of unprecedented ice brought to you by climate change.
“Two’s company, three’s a pimp.”
And here’s another good vid.
And here is the key science that counters everything the Global Warmists claim about CO2 causing global warming.

Scientific studies show CO2 increases FOLLOW temperature increases. Thus CO2 is a LAGGING indicator and therefore there is no causative relationship that a CO2 increase results in a temperature increase. Rather, inconveniently for the author of An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore, their findings indicate that temperature increases precede CO2 increases, not the other way around. Thus CO2, per se, does NOT CAUSE global warming
Of course. When you don't use real science, you can say whatever you want to.
I say climate change makes the ice white. Am I wrong? /sarc
As a follow up to my prior comment, gleeaikin was in agreement with you..........
First, it is normal etiquette to include anyone who you mention in your post in the “To line”.
Second, not that it matters but you apparently did not read the discussion very carefully. gleeaikin is an extremely courteous person, but I received nothing in reply that indicated that we were in “agreement” about this matter.
My position is that neither satellite data or data from ground based weather recording stations currently are currently giving a highly accurate picture of current conditions at either pole. There are no solid indications that we are outside of typical natural variability but from historical accounts from mariners that sea ice extent in the arctic ocean was less in the 1930s. When one looks at unadjusted data from ground based weather recording stations in the United States... it appears that the 1930s were warmer than what we are experiencing currently.
gleeaikin said in post 49 of http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3557028/posts , “The greater concern that is being commented on is that in the far north, the summer temperature is about 10 degrees hotter. This is supposed to be melting the permafrost which releases a lot of CO2. Also it appears that for at least some arctic river systems, there is a lot of frozen methane deposits that are now being released and methane gas is said to be more dangerous than CO2 gas.”
Then she said in post 51, “I just got back to town after a business trip, and Googled How fast is Arctic permafrost melting? Below is the link that came up which had many articles listed below.
I was not so concerned about the polar ice because it is the thickness that is most significant. Even a thin layer of ice is useful to reflect back the solar radiation and protect from Earth overheating. However, even if coverage increases, unless the ice continues to thicken it does not change the issue by much.”
Sorry for not italicizing my quotes and the typos.
