I’m delighted at the Trump announcement of withdrawal, but we should not be “negotiating” this kind of blanket global agreement to limit our economy and industries, period. The entire approach is wrong and irrelevant.
We will all be happy so long as “negotiations” are endless and nothing is ever agreed. But we should not encourage this kind of approach, period.

Not a joke. The reason to pull out cold turkey is to call into question whether the Agreement is merely implementing the 1992 Convention (which was Senate-approved), or whether it committed us to something new. That’s a Supreme Court case.

Exactly we are the cleanest...if the left wants to meet our terms and put them in the “accord”; then we’d be glad to join, like China and Russia clean up their air and we profit share instead of us giving our power and money away.
