I had to work for many of the years my child was young. Wished I didn’t have to. Said child survived and is all grown up as well.

As good little righties, we tell these people that leaving them alone is all that God wants us to do. Then we stand and judge when circumstance steers them into suboptimal arrangement.
You are deluding yourself. Those “loving” and “caring” daycare workers are there for a paycheck, often minimum wage. They may not be bad people, but they have nowhere near the connection with your child that his/her mommie can provide. Your child was yearning for their mommie the whole time.
Certainly we dont if the parents of thr baby really felt this way or not
..but considering what 0bama, the Democrats and a good number of Republicans have done to the good, working people of this nation over the years, it is not out of the realm of possibility.
Glad you brought that up. I have full sympathy for the poor black mom in the ghetto who has absolutely no choice but to work to keep her family together. But that is not what we are talking about here: it is the white mom who wants to “have a career” or wants to “maintain our standard of living” who deposits her kids in a daycare so she can work. I know plenty of those, and they are the children who know they are taking a back seat to their parents love of money.
Oh so now you reduce your judgment? When faced with the obvious?

Funny how God works out these issues, though. A parent SHOULD be wanting to spiritually nourish his or her child, but sometimes the parent has absolutely cockamamie ideas of how to do it. Believe me — I’ve been there, done that, and in retrospect glad that I didn’t get embroiled even worse than I was in these cockamamie ideas which raised themselves up against the knowledge of God.
So being aloof from the child in these circumstances might be better for the child’s ultimate spiritual progress towards God who is perfect.
Children need their mommies - and any attempt to state that obvious fact is “judgemental”? You, my friend, are in the wrong forum if you are advocating that children be brought up by nameless and faceless corporate “child care workers.”
And having your child “raised” by some nameless and faceless corporate “child care provider” is preferable? Better to get your own house in order and care for your own child rather than pass them off as they are crying and reaching for you not to abandon them.

And if they are abandoned by their parents to be “cared for” in some impersonal daycare center, where they are just one number in a couple of dozen kids, what are they to think about the meaning of love and commitment, if their own mommie has more important things to do than be with them? Yes, I know of situations like this.
You make a big deal about your supposed Christian commitment, but you are denying the Lord who saved you when you advocate the passing off of precious little children to impersonal daycare “providers”, who are no substitute for the mom that God gave them. You should be ashamed of yourself!

Yes, I see on your home page how (in exaggerated font) you blab about your “Christian commitment,” yet somehow you are oblivious to the fundamental order of creation instituted by God, whereby male and female unite and birth children, who are their primary responsibility to raise up in the knowledge of the Lord. Yet you have no problem when those precious children are passed off to minimum-wage “childcare workers,” to sit all day in a room full of likewise abandoned children?
I was always taught to avoid the ad hominem in arguments.
