German opposition leader Martin Schulz accused Mr Trump of having tried to “humiliate” Mrs Merkel in Brussels......

If this is what amounts to opposition, Germany is screwed.

Screw these loony toon Muslim importers. I don’t take advice from countries that fall all over themselves submitting to Islam and invasion by Islamic migrants. Behind their sensible facade these Krauts are nutso!

It’s time to put Germany back in its cage.

Thanks for posting this.

There are 53,000+ Americans and their families stationed in Germany. That’s a lot of money going into the German economy.

That money America pays Germany for use of bases there could be better utilized for say securing our southern border? I’m sure Ft. Bliss and other bases close to the border could expand operations to accommodate addition troops.

A few years ago, we have friends who didn't know each other at that time, who went to Germany for a few weeks.

Both guys served in the Army in Germany during the cold war. One is a West Point Grad, and the other was an ASA officer.

They could not believe the size of our military footprint and the number of American soldiers still in Germany years after the cold war was over.

They said we probably employed twice to three times as many Germans as our GI's.

Both guys said it was a huge waste of money, material and man power.

It is time to call back those troops and as you noted put them on our borders and then raiding drug cartels south of our borders.

Those 53 000 troops are occupation troops, and I understand the (unspoken) argument for keeping them there. I don’t agree with it, but I understand it.

Once they leave, German politics will move in unexpected directions.

I know what you are saying.

However, it may be time to pull out and monitor Germany like we should monitor N. Korea and Iran.

Failure to join the EU in their suicide pact built around climate change and mass muslim migration results in them them throwing temper tantrums. Sounds like Trump is doing exactly what we elected him to do.

I would think that any anti-migrant parties would find some common ground with Trump.

It’s all about The Paris Climate deal....”

It is. If Trump would just keep his promise and pull us out. This would be moot and the pressure would stop. Not the bitching of course but the pressure would cease.

Germany is not Europe. In fact, the germans have killed more Europeans than any other race of people.

I haven't found what, other than the Paris Econazi treaty, the Germans found so "humiliating" about Trump's trip. Apparently neither did the commentator:

It was unclear exactly what incident a furious Mr Schulz was referring to, but he accused the US president of "acting like an autocratic leader".

Well, no one knows autocratic leaders like the Germans. And by the way, what was the vote in Germany on that immigration policy again? Oh, there wasn't one?

"Anyone who accelerates climate change by weakening environmental protection, who sells more weapons in conflict zones and who does not want to politically resolve religious conflicts is putting peace in Europe at risk," Mr Gabriel said.

Anyone who believes that the climate is changing one iota faster because an American President didn't sign a piece of paper has left the realm of sanity. As far as selling weaponry in combat zones, are the Germans ever going to investigate the German chemical weapon sales to Syria? Two years and counting now, and nothing but silence.

And as for politically resolving religious conflict, Trump did more in one trip to the Middle East than the EU has done in a decade. We wait for a similar candor from Brussels. And wait. And wait...

The other major party candidates are worse, believe it or not.

Unless and until nationalist parties are allowed to compete on an even footing in open elections, Merkel may be as good as it gets.

Wanna bet that the Poles would welcome new US Military bases in Poland with open arms? Put them in the old east Prussian area.

Poke the Germans right in the eye.

Yes, but I think it will happen after the Germany becomes an Islamic Republic. When that happens it will be the USA vs Europe.(and England)
