I note the WaPo commenters are making such civil remarks about Montanans being fascist and outnumbered by cows compared to our college degrees. Precisely that attitude that will re-elect our president and our newest Rep.-elect. Please note Rob Quist, their candidate evaded paying taxes in multiple years. And college-educated or not, proposed gun control. In Montana. Where you’re never more than ten feet away from a loaded weapon for crying out loud. Oh, and campaigned with Bernie Sanders. Imagine if, instead of gun- and Bernie-grabbing, he punched out a reporter. Heck, probably would have cut Gianforte’s winning margin in half.

The media almost took him out with a sensationalized story that later had some key facts retracted. Very dangerous, an 11th hour “surprise” caused by a reporter provoking him.
