The FBI declined the House Oversight Committee's request for the James Comey memos

The FBI will not be giving House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) the information he requested regarding the former FBI director James Comey, citing the special counsel appointment of Robert Mueller as a reason. 

"In light of this development and other considerations, we are undertaking appropriate consultation to ensure all relevant interests implicated by your request are properly evaluated. We will updated this response as soon as possible," the letter states.

If the memos state what the media is claiming, then Comey goes to jail for the rest of his life. My guess is that the memo or memos never existed. And if they did, then the shredder is having lunch.

Stop asking and subpoena them. Let the country's top investigative law enforcement agency face the prospect of either unlawfully refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena or turning over the documents and letting congress see just how culpable they are in all this.

I no longer consider the FBI am honorable and above-board institution. Everything they said to smear Hoover is true right now and worse, in my opinion.

There should be two distinct investigations and conducted by totally different investigators. One investigation should be the murder of Seth Rich while the other should be whether Seth Rich leaked the emails. Combining the two investigations gives rise to ridicule of being conspiracy inspired.

congress already knows what happened in both cases,they are just ducking and covering since its a hot potato to try and go after the DNC. You would think that with over 500 congressional elected reps that at least one would stand up and demand an investigation.
