Only “insane” Liberal traitors would erase monuments of American history.
How about the Deplorables demand that everything Carter, Clinton, and Zero be torn down and erased?

In New Orleans, Mitch Landrieu is now demanding that anyone who wants the statues reimburse the city for the removal costs AND pay the *value* of the statues (not an easy value calculation, beyond scrap metal pricing).

Erase history. Disparage the Founders and Framers. Maleducate the young- no history, only “we are the world”. Replace the population.
Conquest.

You can not erase history. What you can and should do is learn from history, so you don’t repeat the same mistakes

This means the Civil War never happened. Therefore, slavery never happened.

On the other hand St. Louis was strongly Unionist during the Civil War, unlike New Orleans which had solid Southern ties. So maybe move the monument to Springfield?
To: Terry Mross
This means the Civil War never happened. Therefore, slavery never happened. I like the way you think. . .

Most of these rat hole cities are run by left wing hacks not much we can do about it.

Is there any way to personally sue the perpetrators of this “historic ethnic cleansing”. I don’t mean suing the local governments, I mean suing people like Landreau personally over and over again. If he supposedly is taking a moral stand against American history he finds morally unjustafiable, then perhaps he and others of his ilk should be willing to put their own money wheretheir mouths are.
It seems to me thatif places like New Orleans willingly accepted these monuments for decades (and actually made money off of them via tourism $$$$ and preservation grants) then any politician responsible for removing them is engaging in a short sighted abuse of power.

They dont have the money needed to remove because Democrats have squandered every penny the city ever had or will have.

This means the Civil War never happened. Therefore, slavery never happened. What does the one thing have to do with the other?

The only remedy to return the Confederate monuments in New Orleans is quite simple.
All that you would need to do is to build a slate of candidates to run for mayor and all the city council seats and win election.
Once you and your slate of candidates are on the New Orleans City Council, you can all vote to return the Confederate monuments to their rightful places.
Its’s that simple.
Good Luck?
BTW-What part of New Orleans are you from?
