Democrat lawmakers have strongly criticized President Trump for firing FBI Director James Comey, likening it to Watergate and calling for a special prosecutor to take over the investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the presidential election.
Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY) joined Tucker Carlson tonight to discuss how Democrats have reacted to Comey's firing.
Tucker said many Democrats - like Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren - may claim to know that Comey was fired because Trump was worried about the Russia investigation, but they don't actually know that.
"Why are you saying crap like that that you don't know if it's true?" Tucker asked. "That's totally irresponsible. Like, why would you say something like that?"

I watched this last night. This rat congressman was a total condescending jerk with his smug smile.
Has their been any polling done to see if the American people believe the fake Russian scandal?

Of course it’s totally irresponsible - that was the point. Any time Trump fired Comey would have been within a few days after something happened in this frivolous and politicized “Russia” investigation. Any time Trump fired Comey would have been either too soon after a key person took a job related to Justice, or too long after that person took the job (or both).
The real facts: Russia engages in adverse cyber activities against all political candidates and parties in all elections, to gain leverage or insight against or into the winner. Russia presumably hacked Hillary and the DNC, since everyone else did too. Insiders (not hackers) leaked the key emails that are said to have harmed Hillary, but polling suggests that those emails did little damage. Whether voters supported or hated Hillary or were on the fence, they already knew that she was one of the most corrupt politicians in our history, and the leaks did not change their votes.
I also watched it. He was twitching because Tucker was cleaning his clock. These politicians act like royalty. They are outraged when anyone dares to question them on policy and motives. They know what’s best for the peasants.
One poll has it at 39%...

I thought this guy and the female attorney on with Tucker were just lying and lying and lying. I’m sure they figure ‘if they say it, many people will believe it and then it becomes the truth’. Such lying Liars should be held accountable.....but as Dems, they never are.

If the Media thought the Wikileaks Podesta emails were such a big deal, they would have covered it before their candidate lost the election.
Trump needs to put a video out with all the snippets where all the dems, etc., are saying “NO EVIDENCE”. (just like he did recently with the video showing all the dems asking for Comey to be fired.)
Unless the media wanted Trump to win, they handled almost everything in the worst possible way. In the primary debates, they made Trump the center of discussion by attacking him. The result was he got twice his share of speaking time and most of the attention. In the general election debates, they were so pro-Hillary that their actions proved Trump’s point about biased and corrupt insiders.
I think they really wanted Trump to be the nominee because he would be the easiest to defeat, but they didn’t think through human behavior enough to recognize that their strategy would also help him in the general election.
Tucker should also state that the liberals ate suffering from Russianphobia...

I watched this too.
Maloney thrice repeated a claim that within the last hour, the Trump administration had changed its story, “admitting” that it was Trump’s decision to fire Comey that triggered the Deputy AG’s recommendation memo rather than the other way around, and that the reason was because Comey would not drop the Russian/Trump election tampering investigation.
Tucker clearly thought it sounded fishy, but had no basis to refute it either, since it was congressman saying it, and it was supposedly within the hour.
I immediately checked here on FR but found nothing.
Was there any truth to that claim that Moloney made three times? If so, I would think the Dems, MSM (and McCain) would be blowing it up into a big story.
If it was a lie - we should be blowing it up into an even bigger story.
