So then the Republicans do not have a majority in the Senate.

Today, I made a special trip to Stale and Shake to eat a cheeseburger in honor of the lying muslim’s statement that eating steak contributes to climate change. Or words to that effect.

After this, I don’t doubt the Senate would convict Trump if impeached.

Best we can do is neutralize them by turn several Democrat seats in 2018.

Capture the methane and sell it. Or just capture it and burn it off like they do at my local landfill ...

I can tell you exactly what the problem is regarding Collins.

Whenever the democrats here in Maine ran someone against her, it was always some obscure female moonbat state senator that made Collins look good in comparison.

I’ve been here in Maine for 25 years, and I never heard of most of these obscure ultra-lefties from southern Maine (aka north Massachusetts) who challenged Collins.

Collins would win by default.

Collins, when she ran for the Senate the first time, promised to serve for just two terms. Another lie.

I can’t stomach Collins and wouldn’t vote for her for dog catcher.

Yeah...not surprised. Has Susan Collins EVER voted with the Rs?

I saw her interviewed on Fox News last night. She seems to be mildly retarded. How did this piece of work EVER get elected to anything? Or, for that matter, the girly-boy from South Carolina or that “hero” POS from Arizona? I’d vote for Democrats before I’d vote for these turncoats.

That wouldn't surprise me either. I suppose I've lived too long. Not much surprises me anymore. Either that or I'm just too much of a cynic.

So then the Republicans do not have a majority in the Senate.

***********

Its a majority in name only. There are too many squishy Pubbies who bend to the will of the unified Dems. For all practical purposes, the Dems are still running the show.

The GOP doesn't really want to lead. Its not a role they are comfortable with. They would rather follow and meekly hide from media criticism. They really hate Trump for fighting back because he exposes and embarrasses them for their own pathetic weakness.

Graham, Collins, and McCain joining all 48 members of the Democratic caucus ...they need to go one step further and make it official they're Demorats.

We may have thought we had the Senate....but it's obvious we don't with GOPe’s as this always going against us. I suspect this “resistance” WITH the Demorats to continue.

I'm so sick of career politicians! They're the reason nothing ever gets done and they love it they can control the outcome regardless of what the people want. It's always the same ones dragging this country down.

Damn straight. At least Collins has an excuse that she’s a pubby in the Northeast. Lindsey and John Boy, however, are beyond the pale.

Will this POS ever go away and retire? I really cannot stand the man it makes my stomach churn just thinking about the fact he’s still there throwing monkey wrenches in the way of progress. And nothing can be done about it because sorry to say but Arizona is ignorant!

We can’t win even when we have a victory. Not sure anything is really fixable anymore, at least not in my lifetime.

Use a Presidential Memorandum. Better than an EO because it doesn’t have to be tied to an existing law.

It’s the Power of the Pen.

You’re expecting total victory after just one election cycle. You win some, you lose some, and eventually the tree of liberty stops losing leaves and that lightning scar gets another layer of bark. Seed pods fall off and germinate, the old leaves mulch and then compost. The forest can come back one day, but the first thing is not to despair too soon.
