Rhonda Ezell was really sick.
Suffering from kidney failure, lung disease and other ailments, she didn’t like to venture very far from her South Side home.
But to obtain a new Chicago firearms permit to keep a gun in her home in 2010, she had to go through hours of training — and Chicago didn’t have any public shooting ranges within the city limits.
So Ezell, a longtime gun-rights supporter, drove to a northwest suburban range more than 50 miles away in Dundee to practice on targets.
On July 12, 2010, the city of Chicago’s new handgun ordinance took effect, and Ezell went to police headquarters at 35th and Michigan to apply for a permit. I have often said I wish the gang bangers had a place to practice,maybe we could reduce the injuries and up the body count!
The ISRA is a fine organization.

I agree, under the condition that gang-bangers and law-abiders practice at the same gun ranges.
Gang-bangers are the targets while law-abiders are the shooters.
I wouldn’t argue with your point, i’m looking at it from the perspective if they had better aim maybe we could curb the deaths of innocent children and maybe those a little more deserving could get their just reward.
In my city, one of the City Council members had speed bumps put on the streets surrounding a low-income housing project. The reason, he said to the newspapers, was that he wanted to spoil the aim of gang-bangers doing drive-by shootings. Many people said in response that they would just increase innocent bystander killings. The bumps were still there the last time I drove by (early in the morning when the gang-bangers were still asleep).
As of May 1, this Year of Grace 2017 is keeping pace with the $#!+show that was 2016 ...
