Ingraham vs. Krauthammer: "Protectionism" Gets Thrown Around Anytime Someone Stands Up For The American Worker
Laura Ingraham and Charles Krauthammer argue about the use of the term 'protectionism' on Tuesday's broadcast of Special Report on the FOX News Channel.
Krauthammer on "the problem" of protectionism in regards to a brewing U.S.-Canada trade war involving dairy and lumber:
INGRAHAM: We also have American workers who have jobs and families who have a livelihood. And the beauty parlor and the shopping center and all the people who can spend money instead of being on government welfare. Or opioids.

Kraut is a confused DemocRat! ...
A little tension on the set last night! She was right. Sour Kraut is almost invariably wrong.
Good discussion here today about the building industry: lumber isn’t the main cause of house prices.
Good somebody is speaking out. We’ve been proselytized against protectionism so long it’s like a bad-word. But most of us feel what was promised has not materialized.
Krauthammer lost his cool in this discussion, likely motivated by his partial awareness that his argument is flawed. At the core of this awareness probably lies a fear of inadequacy.
Kraut is a paid card-carrying shill for the socialist-democrat/GOPe globalist cabal.
Like most of their ilk, Kraut is just a parrot regurgitating their talking points verbatim.
FOX should help him prove his point and OUTSOURCE his Job to North Korea, maybe Kim Jong Un could replace him, politically and Ideologically they are the same and I doubt anyone would even notice the change.
Make no mistake
Open borders pro abortion Krauthammer
The ultimate Neo Con
Almost a charictature
Nearly all Neos were former ‘tards
I believe some are completely ignorant of what some of these trade agreements have created. I’ll clue some in, billions in economic activity and jobs and new business. Folks equate globalism with free trade which cannot be furthest from any reality. I want a completely open free market system. What is killing jobs and industry here is regulations plain and simple.
Mexico has 46 unilateral trade agreements with 46 countries. Folks should go research them, find out what they are then figure out why the US is without work. It isn’t hard to figure it out when one puts 2 and 2 together.
US loses 70000 factories and MexiCo still sends it’s most unskilled surplus workers.
We lose good blue collar jobs that were paying benefits and get an army of illegals who cut lawns but their children go on Medicaid. It is bad long run math, to borrow money from China to subsidize an onslaught of Mexican illegal immigrants.
We lose good jobs and MexiCo sends the dregs.
Free Traitor talking head = mute button.
I consider globalist free trader talk as hate speech.
“Dumping cheap steel”.
From WHOM do the knife makers and the firearms makers, that sell their products to the American military AND consumers, get their steel???
Krauthammer was a speechwriter for Mondale in 1984 trying to deny Ronald Reagan a second term.
there’s a message in that history for anyone paying attention
After a 10 min debate with the Kraut, I’d have him weeping on the floor.
The fool has NO idea what is going on in the real world.
Nor does GWB or Paul Ryan.
The left has their own language, like Esperanto
For example, “You’re racist!” means “You’re white”.
4chan/pol posted an anti-fa meeting notice. Any white people attending were told they would have to pay a $5.00 “privilege fee” to a minority attendee.
You can’t make this stuff up.
I’m now done with Kraut - showed his never Trump bias in that interview. Kraut belongs back in the Nixon administration.
It never ceases to amaze how most conservatives go along with having obvious infiltrators from the other side paraded in the media and the think tank world as being conservative intellectuals.
And Marty Peretz butt buddy
