I deal with the bias by embracing it. When I hear people use the term “far right” or “right wing” or “extreme right” or “tea party”, I tell them that’s what I am. It leaves them shocked and surprised and hopefully a bit educated. Too many people run from those labels and then all the Extreme Lefties think that they don’t know anyone in that category or that everyone in those categories is a KKK member or a white supremacist. What a shock to find out that one of the nicest people they know belongs to those categories. :-)
Anyone to the right of Karl Marx on economics and Noam Chomsky on social policy is far right.
Exit polls.
Haven’t people learned anything about polls?
But not precisely. Each left has its own foibles. We could not see Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton or even George Bush doing this.
Macron is an open borders, pro EU, globalist.

Whos saying she was in second place?
The media?
Excellent point!

Okay, good to know. If they’re estimates based on vote samples then I think they have a better chance of being accurate since they won’t have the “shy pollee” effect. I wonder how their track record has been in previous elections.
Obama is meeting with Merkel at the Brandenberg Gate on May 25 — he may want to move that meeting up a few weeks after this news. He’ll be able to spread his propaganda so much easier over there than from here dontcha think.
Michigan was called for Hillary based on sample precincts.
“I consider it semi fascist, more in the vein of Franco than Mussolini, but still ultimately hostile to the level of liberty in our Constitution)”
That’s Europe for you. I’ll take Le Pen who at least has recognized the real enemy of Europe, islam, over any of the appeasers.
It’s do or die time for western civilization.
C’est bonne
Yet the mehodology still indicates IMO that Le Pen will increase her numbers.
There are two etimations made and the other, which I can only find second-hand references to, shows a tie at 23%.
Don’t hnow how well this has prformed in the past, but assume it’s generally ‘good’.
Yes..
Dick Clark lives!
Whoo Hoo!
The people have spoken.
Things should be getting really interesting in France.
And the harder the muslims and the left push, the more they build the case against themselves and the bigger the push back in the final elections.
Because the question is going to be who the voters for the other candidates are going to vote for in the final election.
If they were supporting Macron had their opportunity to say so in this election and now we’ll see who they support in the final elections.
I’m hoping they’ll throw their vote in with LaPen.
