Charlie Daniels--An Open Letter to Politicians: You Have Completely Forgotten About We the People

This is an open letter to Democrats, Republicans, independents, liberals, conservatives and every other ilk of politician who is elected by the votes of Americans.

While I realize that there are two, three or sometimes more sides to a story, and understand the importance of representing the views of the electorate that put you in office, what I simply cannot understand is the partisan intransigence that would prevent grown, mature men and women from showing the molecule of reason it takes to reach decisions based on something other than that the opposing party supports it.

And in your self-righteous zeal to toe the party line, you have completely forgotten about we the people and the welfare of the nation you're supposed to be serving.

Thanks Charlie. Yup. For the most part, those (s)elected look out for themselves before anything else. How else did so many of these "so called" representatives end up millionaires on the tax provided salaries they receive? Musta got the hildabeast self help book about investing in cattle.

Oh please, please President Trump. You need some time with Charlie Daniels in the White House, refreshing your connection with the Deplorables.

It would be better if the Prince and Princess weren't there.

Here's the REAL problem with the federal government. It is not that it has forgotten about We the People. In fact, we don't want the feds to be thinking about We the People. They've been thinking too much about We the People and how they can increase their control over us and take more of our money.

The REAL problem with the federal government is: You have completely forgotten about the Constitution which limits your power, your size and your scope.

Why have the feds forgotten about the Constitution? Because We the People, the feds' boss, have forgotten about the Constitution, our freedoms which are protected by the Constitution, and enforcing the fact that the Constitution, not the feds, is the Supreme Law of the Land over the feds.

The smell of rats infesting the House and Senate has been surpassed, as Charlie sees the cermin clearly, calling out to warn the sleeping voters. Sadly, the bread and circuses have taken away what once was American Pride and Patriotism.
