Victoria’s Secret Under Fire for Lack of Diversity in #WhatIsSexy Campaign

The California-based brand revealed its honorees, many of whom were white and skinny. And it didn’t take long for social media users to accuse Victoria’s Secret’s of failing to include women of other ethnicities in its campaign.

“Young, white and thin is what’s sexy according to VS. Where’s the racial diversity? Where’s the size diversity….” one Twitter user wrote.

Reality is this type of woman is appealing to a small subset of other people. Not most people.

When they say this they are demanding that all people be equally appreciated by everyone, and if they are not, that is just awful.

Meaning people can’t have personal preferences and likes and dislikes, and act on them accordingly.

It really is time to put an end to these self appointed conscience nazis.
