United Airlines is reportedly compensating all customers who were on the flight in which a passenger was forcibly removed from his seat.
All customers on the flight will be compensated for the cost of their tickets, CNBC reported Wednesday.
JUST IN: United says all customers on flight 3411, where a man was dragged off, are receiving compensation for the cost of their tickets. CNBC (@CNBC) April 12, 2017
Video surfaced earlier this week of security personnel violently dragging a passenger in Chicago from his seat after the man refused to give up his spot to an airline staffer.
The video sparked national outrage and calls for congressional investigations.

And if you give a beatdown to someone who hasn’t broken the law, you lose your badge, especially in this age of everything being on video.
Yeah, well I just loved that “Federal Security guy” who dragged the doctor off. It’s really classy to wear Levi’s with a bunch of crap in the back pockets. My guess was he was one of the baggage handlers who had been enlisted to effect the “eviction.”
A guy on FNC tonight said that this will be an “eight-figure payoff” when the litigation is over. United used to “name” their A/C after their retired captains. I just imagine that one of their new Dreamliners is going to have this guy’s name on the nose, because his payout will equal what one of these planes cost.
United Airlines is giving a major signal that they are in deep doo-doo from an upcoming lawsuit by Dao.
Why else would they reimburse all the passengers?
Sounds like United wants to buy favorable testimony if the case actually makes it to trial.
In today’s electronic world all sorts of verbal and written communications by United Airlines staff will be available to Dao’s lawyers.
Agree. There are many instances of criminals being treated with kid gloves. Protesters illegally creating mayhem in the streets destroying property are treated more gently than this innocent paying passenger. Criminals with weapons on display are negotiated with for hours and gently taken away. Criminals are told their rights before arrest.
This man, this father and grandfather, could be any one of us. No one should be treated this badly on an aircraft. Yet some here on Free Republic are too willing to allow authorities to abuse regular folks. Shameful. If left unchecked, the abuse will get worse for all.
He broke the law when he resisted arrest.
Would you squeal like a stuck hog for the world to see for millions?
I wouldn’t.
United is not going to let the crew talk. Their CEO admitted on National TV today that they should NEVER have dragged that man out of his seat, and that it will NEVER happen again. He accepted blame for the entire incident on national TV. He admitted to a policy failure regarding seated passengers, and that they were going to fix this. So, they don’t want the air crew giving interviews. They let their CEO do that.
The CEO is a dipstick that has bought into liberal stupidity.
Paying off everyone on the flight won’t help United.
IT WILL MAKE IT WORSE.
What a Maroon..
Before being paid, the planes passengers will no doubt be required to sign some kind of “release” which will include language preventing them from testifying in the upcoming lawsuit when it comes.
These airlines are all snakes in the grass.
Wow, you really are a moron.
exactly...once the flight crew deems you disruptive, thats it, you’re off that flight...plus, whats he gonna sue for?..a bloody nose?
You know, there are TV shows with people doing really stupid stuff for much less money.
I guess facts don't matter to you. He's not Chinese nor is he from China! Ignorance is NOT bliss!
And he’s going to get millions more because of United. His name will be linked with the gay doc who provided drugs illegally. It was United’s PR department that probably floated that info.
He can be booted for being drunk, medical issues, too fat to fit in a seat.
But no, he can't be booted once he's boarded just because they want to give his seat to someone else.
Even that idiot United CEO has said that.
And when he complained he was forced off the aircraft, and he'll soon be able to buy his own jet and crew.
I know, but I’m not one of them.
I agree Oscar Munoz is a moron.
When does the lottery start on predicting the day and hour Munoz gets fired by the United Airlines Board?
Based upon Munoz’s work history it appears he moves from company to company without showing any results.
Is he an ‘affirmative action’ CEO?
What don’t you understand?
Never make a damn scene, get justice.
This ahole will get justice while eroding the rule of law because libtards were more frightened of the law than terrorists or nuts at 30’000 feet.
He’s minority and a homo.
And a pensioner!
The Con Dao should petition Hollywood for a special Academy Award.
