United Airlines is reportedly compensating all customers who were on the flight in which a passenger was forcibly removed from his seat.
All customers on the flight will be compensated for the cost of their tickets, CNBC reported Wednesday.

Video surfaced earlier this week of security personnel violently dragging a passenger in Chicago from his seat after the man refused to give up his spot to an airline staffer.
The video sparked national outrage and calls for congressional investigations.

You better get the check book you left in your Lambo
Made a killer bolognese sauce last week :)
Since 9/11 the contract is pretty much “act like cattle”
That’s what people demanded
Do I like it? Hell no!
Do I like this snowflake twisting it farther? Hell No!
Love the Italian kitchen, it’s about time together.
Kids running around, put their little fists to work on the pasta, supervise, have some wine, pet the dog, Laugh!
With the hold on communications, in discovery if it pops up this was truly an initiative on the behalf of United's PR department, some individuals within United are going to have a world of legal hurt. They won't be able to get jobs anywhere except in the Democrat party or the mainstream media.
Not only wasn’t he being arrested he was completely within his rights to refuse to leave the plane. The airline broke the law not the passenger. The airport security people assaulted him.
Have you been tased lately? Who knows if they would scream under those circumstances?
Every Tues is pizza night back home.
Everyone in the neighborhood gets together to make pies.
Its all home made including the Dago red
Nick likes potato pizza LOL and you know its pretty damn good.
And I’m Irish! (maybe that’s why it’s good LOL)
There are limits, and it seems to me UAL exceeded the limits. Don't make it worse by automatically surrendering to the airline on issues like this.
Whatever else this guy did in his life on this occasion he stood up for his rights thinking he was in a society where rights were respected. He got mown down and now on Free Republic he is being vilified for not just backing down and shutting up.
Possession is 9/10 of the law, if he left the seat he was a volunteer and would get compensated $800 with no way to get to work & no way to sue because by leaving he acquiesced. He actually stood for the right of law, one old man against a gigantic company and 3 airport thugs.
If United is forced to respect the rights of passengers and the ridiculous over reach fascilitated by our reaction to 911 begins to reverse this stubborn old man will have done us all a favor.
That is not what the Condition of Carriage says on United’s website.
Airlines would be better with potato pizza.
Let’s face it folks, traveling by air since 9/11 is complete ****
Not just here, heck I had some polisi stick a full auto sub machine gun in my ear with his finger on the trigger and the safety off at the Leonardo DaVinci airport in the early 80s.
Did I pitch a fit?
Noop. I showed ID, complied and went on my merry way
Nope, this 67? year old college educated guy should have had more sense.
Possession?
Who owns the Plane?
I am not kidding
Was he tased?
Just saying I have lost rights since 9/ll cuz we’re all skeeded
I am seriously trying to hijack this thread to Italian food because i am so sick of what they are feeding us.
