All in would PO the Russians and not be good for peace in the world.

The rebels fighting Assad are Al Qaeda, they are not a good alternative.

Going in with air strikes or a no-fly zone would help the Al Qaeda forces.

Unacceptable.

Lets talk some sort of peace or partition and the elimination of foreign jihadists from Syria.

Getting rid of ISIS is fine.

But the Al Qaeda forces must go as well.

There was a reported armored division that crossed into Syria from Jordon that was estimated to be 7000 strong the day after the Tomahawken that was given to them by the US. It was also reported that this unit was engaged in a conflict with ISIS a couple days later and defeated them.

What do you mean Mr President that we will not go into Syria?

Anymore?

Agree and I thought this is something that President Trump was not going to do.

Holding his cards close to his chest was his strongest game or so he said.

Take out as much ISIS as we can. Next ISIS type group to raise their head, “Whack a Mole” em!

OK, so we launch attack on Assad. Perfect sense.

So tell me, how is that taking out ISIS and who is the idiot now.

And do not tell me it was for the "children". I do not fall for fuke news.

Not really projecting anything but “we don’t know what we are talking about.’ Tillerson was wrong, too.

Exactly....all these people crowing about how “we are not in Syria”, are living in denial. But we conservatives are used to being abused by our “spouses” (elected politicians).

This is for 164 & 165.

You can define these anti-Trump people any way you like, but at the end of the day they will be judged by others who know the facts, and realize what wing-nuts they revealed themselves to be.

You can hiss and moan about it, but most people around here aren’t stupid, and they will see these people much the same as I do.

This was a one-of attack based on a certain thing that Assad had been doing. Assad knows what he needs to do to stop our intervention.

The attack on Assad didn’t put a dent in our actions against ISIS. These operations have two different sets of assets. The anti-ISIS team is made of people on the ground in country. The attack on Syria’s airport was facilitated by the ship crew at sea.

While I want us to focus on ISIS, I have absolutely no problem at all with hitting Assad’s facilities he uses for making chemical weapons attacks.

Trump knocked out 20% of Assad’s planes at the airport. He left plenty of assets there so Assad could continue to fight his enemies by conventional means. He also left other assets there so we could make Assad pay more if he doesn’t stop. We can take out another 20%, and another. We can also move to other bases. Assad needs to stop what he has been doing.

If you think this makes me look stupid. Go ahead. I don’t mind. It says more about you than me.

Ok, thank God. Was getting worried there...especially after things Tillerson has said.

I agree. You had Rex running around like Rubio’s little neocon bitch, talking smack about Assad, and suggesting regime change. So yes, we needed some reassurance.

but at the end of the day they will be judged by others who know the facts,

These others will judge no one. We will only be judged by the good Lord.

Others think they are judge and jury, like yourself, but they are fools on fools errands

Okay, so we’re not to judge each other. If you want to run with that, go ahead.

God sanctions man to judge each other all the time. What do you think happens in courthouses across the nation every week-day? Do you think God will condemn man for doing such things?

We judge people who wish to work for us, or people who do.

We judge other humans who will be our friends or our spouses.

If we can’t judge others, how do we try to help them see what they are missing?

Nice try eartick, but I think you’re off base there. Of course, I had to judge the issues at hand and your take on them to think that.

“Anyone with a minimal understanding of history knew that Daddy Bush’s adventure in Kuwait would end us up in a quagmire. “

Did those great analysts advise against GulfWar I or you providing a great hindsight 20/20 analysis 25 years later?

Nikki Haley is a an out of confirm lunatic. If she wants to remove Assad, let her put on a uniform and go fight Assad in Syria, and while she is about it, let’s see her establish a stable alternate government. Say, how did removing Saddam work out in Iraq?
