Please leave Capitol Hill for 5 minutes, and find three people on the street who thinks its OK, argued Rep. Michael Capuano, D-Mass
So, it's getting pretty bad when the Dems are the voice of reason, no?

I side with the democrats on this one.
It’s an invasion of privacy.

Will that really protect you? Won’t your ISP still have a full log of all your HTTP requests? I believe that’s what they’re talking about selling, if I understood the news stories I watched. Which is different from what Google and Facebook mined and sold in the past, so I don’t think the “it’s been going on already” argument is true.

So, it's getting pretty bad when the Dems are the voice of reason, no? Sure is, but I'm with them on this issue.

Since you are a fellow resident swamp dweller, I hardly need point out the amount of K-street cash from the telecom industry that went to buy this bill.
Our idiot RINO critters have time for this nonsense, but cant find time to put together real health care reform.
And, by the way, it is we the taxpayers who already thought we paid for your faithful service. If you don't like the pay surrender the seat to someone who will serve the people.

I agree with you. At a minimum, it should be an OPT OUT situation. I should be able to say “NO, you don’t sell mine” if I don’t want it sold to third parties.

This was one Obama program that made sense. Who the Hell owns Congress? I don’t think any constituent of any Congressman who voted for this supports it.
This is insanity.

The ISP will have a bunch of gibberish. They would have to have all the data of your ‘exit node’, which changes every time you connect (ideally) and which is not even in your own nation. While they could still sell it there would be nothing of value or interest to a corporation.

Now you’ll find out what Dems have been up to
To: Laser_Ray
OK, thanks, I guess I will have to read up on it, then. It sounds like a similar concept as adding encryption to your email? I like the sound of that....
thanks much.

I’ve had a couple of phone calls from businesses recently within moments of doing a search for said business. Freaky.
