Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., caused a scene at a Manhattan restaurant when he began yelling at a wealthy and well-connected Donald Trump supporter that the POTUS is “a liar.”
He was dining with friends when he encountered Joseph A. Califano Jr. — the former U.S. secretary of health, education and welfare under President Jimmy Carter and domestic policy adviser to President Lyndon B. Johnson — and his wife, Hilary, who were having a quiet dinner.
Onlookers said Schumer was incensed that Hilary — the daughter of William S. Paley, the founder and chairman of CBS — had voted for Trump, even though her husband, Joseph, is a well-known Democrat.
One witness said of the restaurant rant, “They are a highly respected couple, and Schumer made a scene, yelling, ‘She voted for Trump!’ The Califanos left the restaurant, but Schumer followed them outside.”
On the sidewalk, Schumer carried on with his fantastical filibuster: “ ‘How could you vote for Trump? He’s a liar!’ He kept repeating, ‘He’s a liar!’ ”

Since New York went 59% for Hillary, her vote didn't matter.
However, "Chuck E Cheese" Schumer is probably aware of how large a check Hilary Califano cut for Trump. (Of course, money wasn't the Democrats' main problem, since Clinton outspent Trump by a roughly 2:1 margin.)

Schumer is between a rock and a hard place with the Gorsuch filibuster. If he filibusters, Mitch McConnell will go nuclear, and when the next liberal SC justice retires, a conservative will be a shoo-in. If Schumer doesn't filibuster, the moonbats will be calling for his head, and they might get it.

As far as I know, nothing. To my mind, he is the most honest politician I have witnessed in my lifetime. The "Trump lies" mantra is simply a democratic/media talking point. It means nothing in reality.
This is someone who is scared and losing it if this story is true. This is who is trying to get back into power and if they do then the US is gone if it is not already with the deep state.
It would depend on whether he is bringing dems to vote for his agendas, as Reagan did, or crossing the aisle to sit with them, as Bush, McCain, Graham, did.
