A Guatemalan national accused of raping a minor has disappeared after being allowed to post bail.
Gabino Vargas-Perez, a 20-year-old legal resident whose parents live in Guatemala, allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl whom he was dating after stalking her for months at Central High School, according to KETV News.
The victims aunt told KETV that the teen reported the stalking to school officials but nothing was done. The administration says they have no records of the reports.

A 20 year old man does not "date" a 14 year old child.
Yep. Back when our kids were in middle and high school, when we made a complaint we would type it up on legal documents with us as plaintiffs, sit down with the Principal and give him a copy, informing him that our attorney also has one. That always got results.
One time was against a nasty liberal teacher with a bias towards kids, we got grades raised not only for our daughter but others as well, and the teacher was removed from teaching the course for the following years. Be serious with the administration, and they will treat you seriously.
“So, you feel there is no concern with letting your underage daughter visit with an illegal, 20 year-old man, unsupervised?”
Again, there’s nothing to indicate that the aunt knew this person was dangerous. And it’s absurd to think that kids are going to be (or should be) supervised all the time.
