I don’t like this one bit. Every time Comey opens his mouth he leaves more questions and egg on republican faces. They will not pin him down, he will squirm and mislead and lie like he has done. He will not say anything to incriminate himself. And the fact that Nunes said Shiff agreed made me even more uncomfortable. Shiff is a back stabbing anti American. Shiff is not in this to find the leaker. Shiff is looking to turn anything and nothing at all into any kind of “collusion”. His only goal is to get Trump. Nunes is playing with fire and will get us all burned. Just fire Comey, ignore Shiff and put your own guy in the FBI and take it from there. That’s the safest route.

I agree with all you say. I believe he is compromised and has been doing Obama’s/Hillary’s bidding all along. The one thing I can’t figure out is why he did that thing where he publicly mentioned that they found new Hillary emails on Weiner’s computer right before the election. That did have an impact on the election, in my opinion. It reminded everyone about Hillary’s corruption and even when he said they completed their review, people had decided on Trump at that point who may have been undecided.

The outcome will be to promote the narrative that the NSA is no longer credible since it is in President Trump’s control, and that the NSA should be investigated for collusion with President Trump and all purported evidence advanced by the NSA should be shredded for unreliability.

It was because the local NYPD and FBI were going to leak what they had about Wiener’s laptop if FBI HQ did not stop stonewalling.
According to the reporting, they knew they had Hillary’s emails on Wiener’s laptop as early as the beginning of October.
FBI HQ told them to “keep studying the metadata” for a while and did nothing toward getting at warrant to look a the emails, hoping to string it out until after the election.
When all the leaks in the NY media started happening in late October, it forced Comey’s and Lynch’s hand, and they finally agreed to get the warrant to look at the emails. And then Comey had them working triple shifts after getting the warrant so he could wrap it up with a pro-Hillary spin before election day.
