They do have therapists. The problem is, the overwhelming majority of psychotherapists are raving libtards.
The notable exception being those therapists who offer Christian based counseling. You won’t find Hollywood types in their offices.

I think your observation about the therapists is probably a good one also.
This may be off a bit, but I can see them being really in tune with a lot of new-age thinking, not tied to age old traditions and morals at all.

When I was in grad school, many years ago, the push-pull was between Carl Rogers humanism and BF Skinner’s behaviorism.
Neither theory emphasizes a healthy personality with a strong sense of morality and responsibility.
I’ve not studied the two, but I can imagine.
They have really let the public down with that path of misdirection.
When you mentioned the lack of morality or responsibility, I knew just what you meant.

Rogers Humanism—warm fuzzies. Unconditional positive regard. Feelings centered.
BF Skinner’s Behaviorism—stimulus-response-reinforcement. Man as organism, responding to multiple stimuli.
You can see how the two schools of thought are diametrically opposed to each other. Of course, there are numerous others, Freud, Jung, etc. Rogers vs Skinner were just the flavors de jour when I was in training.
Eventually, I chucked it all and went to law school. Hated the law biz even more.
