Put this one in the loony lefty bin. Hollywood actress Patricia Arquette, known for winning the best supporting actress Oscar two years ago, revealed she’s a conspiracy theorist last night on Twitter. After an Islamic terrorist killed 4 people and wounded at least 40 others in London Wednesday, the actress claimed it was all a ruse by President Trump to distract us from the FBI investigation into his ties with Russia:
So far her tweet hasn’t received that much attention, but Arquette is certainly a media darling.
In 2015 the actress made headlines when she gave a politically charged acceptance speech at the Academy Awards on the fake “pay gap.” The media, of course, applauded her for days afterwards for championing the liberal talking point. All three news networks went out of their way to spread skewed statistics to support the actress’ points. CBS’ Scott Pelley gushed, “She has a point!” before repeating incomplete data to back up the wage gap theory.
Arquette followed up this tweet by offering to pay for a “one-way ticket” to Moscow for the president:
This isn’t the first conspiracy theory the actress believes about the president. She also tweeted about the unsubstantiated, but much reported, “dossier” about the President’s alleged sordid affairs while in Russia as if it were absolute truth, as well.
Boyhood was a film about a mentally ill left wing woman raising a son. Her ex was an idiot. Two guys she dated were typical liberal losers.

They do have therapists. The problem is, the overwhelming majority of psychotherapists are raving libtards.
The notable exception being those therapists who offer Christian based counseling. You won’t find Hollywood types in their offices.

I think your observation about the therapists is probably a good one also.
This may be off a bit, but I can see them being really in tune with a lot of new-age thinking, not tied to age old traditions and morals at all.

When I was in grad school, many years ago, the push-pull was between Carl Rogers humanism and BF Skinner’s behaviorism.
Neither theory emphasizes a healthy personality with a strong sense of morality and responsibility.
I’ve not studied the two, but I can imagine.
They have really let the public down with that path of misdirection.
When you mentioned the lack of morality or responsibility, I knew just what you meant.
Let them rant and laugh at them; that’s the best way to deal with this silliness.

Rogers Humanism—warm fuzzies. Unconditional positive regard. Feelings centered.
BF Skinner’s Behaviorism—stimulus-response-reinforcement. Man as organism, responding to multiple stimuli.
You can see how the two schools of thought are diametrically opposed to each other. Of course, there are numerous others, Freud, Jung, etc. Rogers vs Skinner were just the flavors de jour when I was in training.
Eventually, I chucked it all and went to law school. Hated the law biz even more.
