(CNN) — House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes said Wednesday that President Donald Trump's personal communications may have been picked up by investigators through "incidental collection."

Nunes said at a news conference he discovered the potential surveillance of Trump himself while reviewing intelligence reports, but said it was not related to Russia.

It’s happened again and again and again, seemingly random, wild Tweet, wait for the MSM to make complete fools of themselves and then the other shoe drops.

And they still call him stupid.

I get the impression that when Comey speaks, weasel words come out of his mouth. He may or may not know who intercepted Trump and his staff, and he may or may not know who the leakers is/are. No matter what comes forth, he will have a way to say that nothing he said confirms or refutes the information.

FBN puts that jerk Ralph Peters on to “analyze” the situation. He claims Nunes just leaked classified information to try and help Trump, and that it would have been impossible for Obama to be involved in snooping of Trump since that would be illegal. Sheesh.

Why pay any attention to someone who utters weasel words? Waste of time.

Sounds like Comey perjured himself.

Wouldn't this be a great "3-D Chess" explanation why Trump didn't fire Comey on January 20? (Give this guy--Comey--the rope he needs to hang himself).

And who ordered it? And where and to whom did the transcripts of the intercepts go? And what about the leaks?

Those are the questions! Instead, the mediots are going to be asking why Trump has blown all of this out of proportion. "After all, nobody has proven that Trump was targeted intentionally. This was a simple, 'incidental', mistake. Besides, Russians, Russians, RUSSIANS..."

The bottom line: Somebody "incidentally" committed a felony when they leaked the intel. That somebody needs to go to prison, and a great many people need to apologize to President Trump!

The Obama administration gathered information on Trump with the intent to use it in a “Clinton administration” to destroy Mr. Trump, his businesses, family, and associates. The fatal flaw was that Hillary was a terrible candidate and lost bigly.

Nunes: "None of the surveillance was related to Russia." How many violations of Federal Code? How many felonies? Sedition? Treason? What about Amended EO 12333? Obama administration signs off on wider data-sharing for NSA Loretta Lynch signs off on January 3, 2017.

"The changes usher in two sweeping surveillance powers for the-soon-to-be President Trump: Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which allows the government to carry out mass surveillance on US soil, including both the so-called PRISM and Upstream programs revealed by Edward Snowden, and Executive Order 12333."

Is Obama under arrest yet for reasonable suspicion? Is this why he went to Tahiti?

I hope Jeff Sessions is seriously looking into this. Justice needs to be done. We're either a Nation of Laws, or We are Not.

J Edger Comey has some splainin to do.

Nunes’ press conference was an atom bomb while the media is trying to cover for their messiah.

He just said it sounded like it was a political hack and went into the WH.

Comey lied through his teeth to Congress yesterday. Sessions needs to say there is some serious potential for criminal activity on the part of the FBI and Lynch ran DOJ and they cannot be trusted to investigate themselves clearly and appoint a special prosecutor and seat a grand jury and start calling in Comey, McCabe, Lynch and subpenaing information.

If this was NOT linked to the Russian investigation this was blatantly abuse of power by all parties involved in the obama administration and the question needs to be asked of Comey and Lynch did the president know, when did he know and what did he know.

This is Soviet, banana republic like behavior on the part of the FBI and DOJ, they are nothing more than partisan hacks.

<< Is Obama under arrest yet for reasonable suspicion? >>

He should be. Remember that EVERYBODY involved in this crime believed with certainty that Hillary would win, and that they would not be held to account by her “Justice” department. To me, this is a litmus test both for AG Sessions and in general, the rule of law.

The report is, it was done by obama... someone/s who did his dirty work. That’s pretty clear. He could not stand to see his oval office being taken over by an outsider and one who he could not control. He wanted Trump out of there. and he’s used to having his way.. he knows how to get it too.

The russian thing was not of the greatest importance just yet. .but Flynn was also listened to.. and they went off on the Russian thing.. The dems did not blame losing the election on Russia interference until they ran out of other things to blame.. and wikileaks had unveiled the information the dems are using... all bogus as far as Trump being involved in anything to do with Russia. But they were looking to unseat Trump because he was not one of them. They don’t care if it’s hillary in that office or someone else.. as long as its one of THEIRS.

Comey was either hoping to run the clock out, or he was counting on the dems to save his hide. There is no saving anyone’s hide when it comes to this... what they did is scary. I just heard someone say on the radio that what they did was legal. How is it legal in any way or form?! The assimilation of the information they heard, is a felony... and the ones who listened in, are the ones who had to give it to others. They lived in that lawless bubble of obama for way too long... they got caught!

FBI Directors have 10-year terms so that they do not strictly serve at the pleasure of the President and thereby have a presumed bias. So firing him on Jan 20 would have been highly unusual and would have unleashed an immediate firestorm. But firing him after obvious perjury before Congress would be difficult to oppose, although the left-wing attack dogs would still do it but not with much to stand on.
