It’s truly a blessing that we were able to be at that last Shoot, and it’s hard to believe those two FRiends are gone so quickly. We were glad and honored to meet them and all the other dear, new FRiends. I don’t know what the future of the Shoots will be now.

Before I came across your posting here I went to Eakers home page. I didn't know him so wanted to see if I could learn something about him. I read how he was so saddened about the Texan that had just died a couple of days ago. Apparently they were pretty close. Anyway I seem to have a pretty good intuition and as I was reading I got the feeling Eakers death could be suicide.
So sorry for his family, children, grandchildren, and friends. People who commit suicide just don't think about the effects it has on other people.

Did you make the shoot in Orange years ago? That was the first one I went to and where I met him first.
I chuckled to myself when he brought out a 500 count box of .22 rounds. As he and his son shot more and more rounds I wasn't laughing any more. Shot up the whole box and more.
Damn! The strange things we remember at times like this.
