No food stamps, no welfare, no SSDI for illegals. The entire cost of each illegal picked up by state/local taxpayers.

Potential insolvency, degraded bond ratings, etc. will force the change.

All President Trump has to do is cut all Fed funding to "Sanctuary Cities" including for law enforcement.

Then have ICE increase the pressure significantly on non sanctuary areas, and the illegal alien criminal element will migrate to the "Sanctuary Cities", and it won't be long before they beg for the National Guard.

It just might be that President Trump has a copy of Dwight Eisenhower’s playbook concerning crimigrant invaders. Let’s hope so.

I hope these cities enjoy their little holes of Hell.

Among the most potent are high court decisions that have interpreted financial threats like the one Trump is now making as an unlawful intrusion on state’s rights.

Oh.

NOW State's rights are just towering above Federal law and Presidential authority, right?

For the past eight years it has been the All High Holiness Hussein welding the Almighty Word of The Won.

But now it is States Rights.

Got it.

There's an important legal distinction there, and it gives some of these cities a pretty strong leg to stand on.

The Federal government had the authority to impose a national speed limit on highways that qualify for Federal funding, but they couldn't force the states to actually go out and enforce those speed limits. This is where the states and cities have a legitimate point regarding illegal immigrants. They are not immigration enforcement agents, and cannot be deputized against their will by the Federal government.

We may not like the results, but this is the exact same argument that has been used successfully in the past by state and local police departments who had no interest in enforcing stupid Federal gun laws.

NEWS FLASH!

As long as he tries, Trump wins with Americans either way.

The leftist courts are rapidly working their way down to the level of respect decent people have for the Fake Media.

Like the Fake Media, Hollywood, the ACLU, PBS, NPR, NAACP, BLM and others the liberal courts are becoming just another division of the corrupt democrat party.

I wouldn’t bother fighting it out. Just cut their budgets for not abiding by the law and move on. Let them figure out how to fund themselves without federal funding.

Bring it on.

I want Trump to indict and jail the scum who are running this state. And deport every last illegal that the bastards are serving.

“Is Trump the only national leader who is interested in our nation’s laws?”

No-Borders Dubya sure as hell wasn’t. And Obama will be proven to be the determined enemy of the American people that some of us spotted him for being right from the start.

“The cities that do this will likely have an influx that will tax their system and drive out current residents. “

That’s already happened to large portions of LA and Orange County

Louisiana refused to comply, and when the funding was cut off they ceased maintenance on the interstates.

When I was stationed at Keesler, the interstate along the gulf coast had grass growing up through cracks, and there were a few four way stops with traffic lights as well. I wish every state had done that.
