Trump doesn't do his own massive, complicated tax returns. An army of professional accountants do them. Trump has never been charged with tax evasion by the IRS or USG.

This wouldn't be a libel case under any circumstances. In fact, publishing a tax return absolutely cannot be libel by any definition because the information has to be false in order to qualify as libel.

There are any number of other state and/or Federal laws that prohibit the disclosure of financial records -- regardless of whether the person whose records are disclosed is a "public person" or not.
