The U.S. Senate on Tuesday revoked a rule that aimed to give the public more input into federal land management decisions, the latest move by the Republican-led Congress to undo Obama administration environmental regulations it sees as a burden.
The Senate voted 51-48 to approve a resolution to repeal the Bureau of Land Managements Resource Management Planning rule, known as BLM 2.0, finalized in December by the Obama administration.

“... gave outside voices an outsized say in local matters.”
IOW: Gave environmental and other special-interest groups blackmail opportunities.
WINNING!! Why do we still have common core? Seems like we are dilly dallying. Just takes a directive to can the whole damned thing .Young brains are wasting — need history of nation rewritten properly.
Ignore al Rooters; they lie.
The goal of the rule was cut out the local counties, etc.
Just like Clinton encouraged them to sue over endangered species.
Everyone wanted everything to happen LITERALLY “Day One.”
For people who understand the colloquial English Language, “Day One” means “as swift as possible” (not to be confused with ASAP which everyone knows means “never”).
This is Day One — it will continue for a while — a year or so. When Day One is complete, the obozo administration will be a bad memory, nothing more.
I think this one could be completed because of WHEN Obama signed it...too close to the next administration.
We don’t need but 40% of the employees in the Bureau of Land Management. Fire all the federal “Cowboys” who harass ranchers’ families in the Western states. They are troublemakers.
Yep. The envirowhackos got first input.
Thank God.
So 48 of those bums opposed this?We need a list of names.
Everything that Obama did between Nov 8, 2016, and Jan 20, 2017, should be automatically revoked. Period. Especially his authorization of the sharing of surveillance intelligence with many other nations. REVOKE EVERYTHING NOW!
Winning!!
They’re called Democraps.
:)
Common Core is one of the worst things I have ever seen.
Good, yes. But every exec agency rule is a usurpation of Article I Section 1. Why must congress treat the diktats of some numbnuts in the basement of some government building as law?
Drain the swamp, Please?
I went back to school, and had to finish off my math.
The professor wanted me to do the math on paper her way which was pathetic.
I told her that this could be done in your head, but no she said it had to be on paper to show how I got the answer, and then do it her way which was mind boggling.
For example , lets say this question I just thought of for an example.
If I ma 6 and my sister is half my age . When I am 70 how old is my sister.
Easy right. 67 you do it do it on your head, but common core wants you to put it on paper. Then double it multiple it, and carry it or something like that.
Just stupid.
I ended up telling the professor it was stupid and just left the class.
