I wish it were otherwise but one of Trump's primary campaign promises was that he would "repeal and replace."

One of his others was that "we" would "take care of everybody".

There's only one way to do that, and this isn't it.

Tax Credit = SUBSIDY

Obamacare by any other name becomes Ryancare or Trumpcare. And the GOP owns it.

People who pay NO TAXES get real money from tax credits.

Perhaps you meant to say tax deductions.....if not, you have not a clue what you are talking about.

I have argued until I am blue in the face that our ‘rights’ do not guarantee health care. My Socialist/Communist cousin (who accused me of being a racist because I did not support Obama in 2008) says that the ‘Life’ in ‘Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness’ means healthcare. Libs just make it up and it becomes FACT for them. I remember when health insurance was only for emergencies and hospital necessities. In the 50’s, when we went to the doctor, our mom paid cash for the visit. Extra for the shot. HOMs were the beginning of Nationalized Healthcare. The Libs are really good at insrementalism. They don’t much care how long it takes, as long as they eventually achieve their end goal of complete control over the People.

You just admitted I am right. Tax credits can be structures so that no one gets money back they didn’t pay.

No. You are wrong.

A tax credit can be written to offset tax liability down to zero but nothing beyond that.

You’re an idiot. I just beat your ass.

No name calling. That's an improvement, I guess.

As I said, the plan calls for refundable, advanceable tax credits. Money the government will give you right off the start to fund your healthcare for the year. If the government gives you a $6,000 credit in January 2017 and then in January 2018 you determine that with other deductions and credits you pay zero taxes, do you expect the government will say, "You owe us the $6000 for insurance we gave you in January?"

This will be a tax credit lower income people will get regardless of their tax withholding. It's an entitlement. Just like Obamacare has.

THROW THE BUMS OUT!!!

Throw out their RINO-Care with them!

The feds have no constitutional authority to be meddling in healthcare.

Healthcare needs to be run by the free market economy which gave America the best, most affordable, most available healthcare in the world until the feds began rooting around and screwing it up.

But you originally argued that a tax credit had to mean they got back money they didn’t pay. That was a lie and still is. Now you’re trying to change the argument. Pathetic liar.

You are the only person on this thread making that argument.

So who is the idiot?

Your point has been proven wrong. It was wrong before you even posted it here. Act like a man, not a weasel.

I would just like to go back to the days when I actually had coverage OR if I am forced to, pretty much, pay for everything out of pocket AND pay a huge premium as I am now it's not crippling. I am guessing this doesn't rectify that little issue.

Because as it stands now I really don't have coverage and am paying out the a$$ for other degenerates to have free coverage, subsidies or whatever they are getting now that they didn't have before and that we desperately and breathlesssly can not take from them.

Nobody batted an eye when I, for all intents and purposes, lost my coverage.

And you claimed that tax credits can only reduce your taxes to zero. I guess that makes you a liar too.

Hopefully, you pointed out they must be against infanticide (aka ‘abortion’) as well.

Then, you beat ‘em over the head that TRUE Rights are inalienable, and don’t require the compulsion of another to utilize.

While they’re on the group, you ‘remind’ them about A1S8, the 5th Amendment, 9th/10th and finally the 13th.

If they still continue, they should be put down, for away, for being dangerous to the Republic and We the People.

IIRC, the ‘Earned Income Tax Credit’ (EITC) does EXACTLY the former. IRS sends a check for ‘income’ never made nor taxes paid upon.

I agree what you said. ACA is better to be replaced with a new plan, instead of putting a bandage on it which no one fully comprehended. Replacing with a brand new plan would be much cleaner and simplicity to deal with for many years to come. Obama care lite is a scheme which politicians do best..
