I think this was the future even with minimum wage mandates. Today’s youth are getting exceedingly stupid, and at least a computer can make change without giving you a blank stare.
Don’t worry though, the punks in the back will still be there to spit on your food if they don’t like your look....

The actual minimum wage is $0. The wage of those who are not qualified to do the work of mandated wage.

These robots and apps for our smart phones for each fast food restaurants we go to, will eliminate lines at the drive through and in the store.
In the store or in the drive through line, we will use our smart phones to order and pay for what we want. In the drive through line or in the store, we will click a receive/pay icon on our smart phones and then take our bag of food or pizza.
Target, now has drive up pickup spots for items people ordered on line and eliminates the need to go into the store. That concept will be used by fast food stores. If Target’s dumb management team can make that a success, so can any other company,
Uber or a similar company will pickup our orders, and deliver them to us, where we are.
$5,000 a piece to replace people at much higher cost.

That's a bargain. Upkeep probably isn't expensive. No employee taxes that have to be paid. Nobody calling in sick.
