Nearly the whole country was moved by the presence of Carryn Owens, widow of slain Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens, during President Donald Trump’s speech to a joint session of Congress.

 

Nearly, but not all. Some liberals used the emotional moment to attack both the president and the grieving widow.

Just as her warrior husband had a spine of steel, Carryn Owens also has a spine of steel to be in a public gathering so soon after her loss.

My heart absolutely breaks for her. That people on the left were not broken by her grief, reinforces the faux morality or darkened hearts of the left.

President Trump could be the best friend that the military has ever had: Peace through strength. They are not cannon fodder and Trump is not shy about his respect for our soldiers.

That Ivanka was by Mrs. Owen’s side confirms that the Trump family loves this nation, its people, and especially its warriors. The Trumps are taking a lot of abuse, when all they want is to heal this broken nation.
