Bush undercuts Trump a month into presidency after staying silent on Obama for 8 years
The Washington Times ^ | February 27, 2017 | Kelly Riddell

For eight long years, George W. Bush refused to criticize Barack Obama.

“I don’t think it’s good for the country to have a former president undermine a current president,” Mr. Bush explained to Fox News’s Sean Hannity in 2014, on why he refused to critique his successor’s policies. “I think it’s bad for the presidency, for that matter.”

Yet one month into President Donald Trump’s presidency, Mr. Bush decided it was OK to offer a critique of the former real estate mogul.

Obama trashed Bush over and over again. Blamed everything wrong
on Bush. Bush remained silent, like the wuss he is.

Trump has not said one unkind word about W.
Has not blamed a single thing on Bush.

Yet, one month into Trump’s Presidency, Bush starts running his mouth.

Try as they may these uniparty hacks can’t put the genie back into the bottle. Trump has shed a bright light on what we conservatives always knew but lied to ourselves about.
The rinos are now dead in a national election. I’d sooner vote for madonna that another one of these mealy mouthed snakes.

That, of course, was intended sarcasm. Bush II was a fish out of water and our choice between him and opponents who were much worse.

Going after Saddam and Iraq was the worst mistake made by any administration at any time and that’s really saying something. Bush II wins the Lousiest Speaker award and Bush I wins an award for beginning to shove the NWO down our throats.

I agree, I disavow my former support of GWB. The nicest thing I can say about him at this point is that he kept The Goron out of the White House.

I know people have a disdain for the Bush’s. There is a justifiable reason for it. However, don’t let the fake news story feed into that vitriol. Bush did not attack Trump. However, his silence on the Zero mostly during the previous 8 years is something left to be desired.

In retrospect Gore or (gag!) Kerry might have been better than GWB. At least those two would have had a Republican congress with some semblance of brass ones to stand up to them. And they would likely have disgusted most Americans enough that the people would have revolted against liberalism/Democrats THEN instead of 2014 and 2016. Had the GOP at least run a better candidate in 2000, we might never have been plagued with Obama.

A few years of face-palming disbelief with Gore or Kerry, or The One's damage and destruction which we will be dealing with for DECADES still to come? Which is the better choice?

the establishment is desperate to keep this to four years so they can undo liberty. eight years means the voters will start to believe voting actually works. Voting hurts the establishment.

There’s a reason Little Jebby was probably the least favorite of the GOP presidential hopefuls. And that would be his brother. The people were sick of obama, knew Bush led directly to obama, that Bush did zero pushback during his years and even enabled the lefties, and started the Middle East mess that’s still brewing today.

Bush was nothing more that a Clinton-Lite and the people know it, point being is “So What” with regards to his remarks, as he’s just another lefty spouting off.

We have the first true American President since Reagan and the lefties just can’t stand it.

My love for George W Bush first turned to disappointment, then to disdain, then to disgust, now to hate.

To the President Bush that I loved.... we never really knew you, did we?

Big government Republicans always dislike conservatives more than they dislike Dims.
