The invite list by Democrat members of Congress reads like yet another staged protest like so many in recent years that resulted in costly mayhem and damage. This time, though, it won’t be a protest on city streets, but rather within the halls of Congress itself as President Donald Trump takes center stage to lay out his year one agenda for the nation to the legislators responsible for turning that agenda into law.
Both Democrats and the Establishment Media see it as yet another opportunity to try and challenge and embarrass the president.
The anti-president mood will be unprecedented. Remarkable that the very same party and media who not so long ago vilified a Republican congressman for shouting out that then-President Obama was lying about Obamacare (a truthful claim), who demanded that despite political differences the Office of the President must always be respected, is now the party of unhinged opposition – the Office of the President be damned.
The list of guests will be people Democrats feel have been unjustly harmed by an administrative that is barely a month old. Those “harmed” include immigrants both legal and otherwise. Children of illegal immigrants who had criminal records and then were deported will be brought into Congress. So too will Muslims claiming to have been victims of hate crimes as well as a handful of people Democrats will use to represent the “good” that Obamacare has done.
It is rumored some of these guests will boo and hiss the president and that the media is already preparing to highlight those examples in its coverage of the prime-time address.
President Trump will address Congress on Tuesday.
AMEN. In agreement 100%.
Next year, President Trump doesn't need to give the State of the Union as an address to a joint session of Congress; he can give it as a prime time address to the people from the Oval Office.
The Democrats must understand that this behavior will be repeated by the opposition (if there is one) the next time a Democrat is elected to the office of President.
Our last peaceful transition was in 2009. Will there ever be another?
I hope they do... it makes the Dems look small and petty.
The Dims are back stabbers. They will remain quiet while the peanut gallery they have given tickets too will disrupt Trump’s speech.
Any disruption by an illegal alien must result in their deportation AND the expulsion the the Congressman who invited them.
Any ‘guest’ misbehaving needs to be publicly marched out along with whomever hosted them. Any Congresscritter/Senator hosting a disruptor needs to be sanctioned by their leadership and body.
Expect code pinkos and pussy caps to get in there. They have no shame.
Maybe DJT could have Dennis Miller as his guest, to say a few words.

Calling the president a liar was so terrible? It was the wrong venue and so is this crap.
I predict the Sargent at arms will remove these people and there will be some tough actions taken behind closed doors.
That would be priceless. Perhaps the Seargent at Arms should yell IMMIGRACION’ just before the Pres enters.

Rush was gleeful today, saying this would put the Dems on further display to everyone can cost them still more votes.
You would think with the President in attendance that the Secret Service would not allow anyone considered as an illegal or criminal in the same room. You would hope this would require a stricter vetting than a public appearance, considering the entire Executive, Legislative and Judicial branch is present.
The disrupters will bring in children & dare the police to be seen being mean to kids. Little boys in sombreros and doe-eyed little Muslim girls in hijabs, count on it.
All darker hued, of course.

Heck, if they keep this up, the GOP might have 70 senators and 300 congressmen after the 2018 midterms.
What part of “losing strategy” do they not understand?
