In his press conference last week, in which President Trump ranted and raved that he wasn't ranting and raving, he answered a question about his wife, Melania. "That's what I call a very nice question," he said, apparently relieved to stop talking about his own policies, before saying the first lady feels very strongly about "women's issues" and "women's difficulties."
Trump didn't specify what these "issues" and "difficulties" might be. One presumes that, despite the phrasing, he probably meant things like equal pay and health care, and not what old men usually mean when they cryptically speak about our "difficulties."
He then swiftly regressed into thin-skinned indignation, complaining that despite the first lady's strength as an advocate for women, "she gets so unfairly maligned."

Melania and Ivanka provide good cover for Trump's misogyny because they're palatable, conventionally feminine women: They're docile and poised, they don't make demands of men, and they are above all conventionally beautiful -- white and thin.
Now, Trump is using his wife and daughter's status as American women to feign concern for women while he actively makes life worse for women around the world. And Melania and Ivanka sit passively by.

Women read the articles, not knowing they were fake, as neuropsychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen gathered quantitative EEG assessments.
The findings supported results of a functional MRI study recently published in Nature Scientific Reports, which showed how challenging a person’s political beliefs could activate the parts of the brain associated with emotion and self-identity.
A self-described liberal woman in our social experiment reported feeling sad after reading a fictional article on illegal immigrants, but revealed stronger irritation and anger when processing a fake story about a jailed climate change researcher. Simultaneous changes in her brain activity were also much greater when processing the climate change story and correlated with a strong emotional response of angst and fear.
A conservative woman demonstrated opposite reactions. For her, the article on illegal immigration elicited changes in brain activity changes that you would see during a physical threat.
The women were not told that the articles were fake until they were seated on stage. What happened next was startling. First, the women understandably, but awkwardly, tried to defend why they believed the false stories, rather than expressing frustration that they had been duped. This natural human tendency was highlighted by one woman’s comment that while the news was fake, it reinforced a truth she felt about our country—so the piece was tolerable.

Filipovich is a hard-left man-hating ersatz (non-practicing) lawyer. Her work for the Guardian, Cosmo and CNN is all the indication needed to learn where she stands ideologically. Her slasher attacks on the Trump women is nothing short of abominable.
It is not America’s job to ‘make’ things better for women outside America around the world. We can only set an example and ask that others emulate it.
If feminists are so worried about other women in the world, I suggest they pick a country and move there and do something besides whine and moan from the comfort of their $100K a year apartments.

I’ve always thought it was pretty amazing that CNN stories emerge from the anus of their authors as ready made print on a page. Other peoples’ fecal matter is more amorphous and finds its way down more proper channels. Porcelain ones. That’s pretty much what I think of the quality/veracity of CNN, their writers, and their product.
The Trumps are against such dirty dealings.
